FermentAdvisor is a tracker for your live ferments — not a recipe app.
Start a jar for whatever you're fermenting — kombucha, kimchi, sauerkraut, pickles, vinegar, miso, water kefir, milk kefir, yogurt, sourdough starter, fermented hot sauce, or tepache — and FermentAdvisor keeps a running schedule for it: when to check, when to feed a culture, when it's likely done.
PLAN a ferment: pick what you're making, and get a real timeline built from how that ferment actually behaves — not a generic countdown.
The app reminds you along the way: a starter that needs feeding, a batch that's ready to check, a culture that's gone quiet. You don't have to remember any of it.
CHECK in when a reminder fires, with a photo if you want a closer read. FermentAdvisor tells you what it's seeing and what to do next.
LOG the result when a batch is done — what worked, what to change next time — so every ferment makes the next one better.
FermentAdvisor covers the whole loop for perpetual cultures too: sourdough starters, kombucha SCOBYs, kefir grains, and vinegar mothers all get their own feed-and-maintain schedule, not just one-off batches.

Smoother tab bar — it no longer flips style when you background and return to the app. The "last time" summary on Plan now refreshes correctly when you switch jars, Settings is reachable from every tab, and finished diagnoses show a clear "Saved" confirmation.
