Folio: AI Recipe Manager
Video to Cookbook & Meal Plan
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Every recipe you love, in one place.
Folio saves recipes from anywhere: a TikTok or Instagram reel, a YouTube video, a cooking blog, a photo of a cookbook page, or text you paste in. Share to Folio and it reads the caption, listens to the video, and writes the recipe down properly, with ingredients and steps you can cook from.
SAVE FROM ANYWHERE
• Share a reel from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook or X and get a real recipe back
• Paste a link from any cooking site
• Photograph a cookbook page or a handwritten card
• Type one in by hand
SOUS, YOUR AI CHEF
• Ask for something to cook in your own words, and Sous searches real cooking sites
• Ask questions by voice while you cook, hands full, recipe on screen
• Have Sous rewrite a recipe: make it vegan, halve it, swap the dairy. You see every change before it is kept
IN THE KITCHEN
• Step-by-step cooking mode with timers, and each step showing the amounts inline
• Scale the servings and every quantity follows, written the way a cook would write it
• Your allergies and diet are checked against every recipe you save
PLAN THE WEEK
• Put meals on a day and see the whole week at a glance
• Mirror the plan into Apple Calendar
• Build a grocery list sorted by aisle, and mirror it into Apple Reminders
YOURS, EVERYWHERE
• iPhone, iPad and Mac, kept in sync
• Share any recipe by private link, whether or not they have Folio
FOLIO PRO
Folio is free to use and stays free. Folio Pro lifts the weekly limits and adds the heavier tools:
• Unlimited imports from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and X (free includes 5 a week)
• Unlimited Sous questions and searches (free includes 15 a week)
• Sous rewrites any recipe, fills in missing amounts, and drafts steps a video skipped
• Label your whole library at once
• Calories, protein, carbs and fat per serving
Folio Pro is $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year, with a 7 day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings.

Ratings & Reviews
Meet Sous, now with a face.
- Sous, Folio's cooking assistant, is now a character. You'll find him beside the tab bar, in Discover, when you edit a recipe, while he reads a new import, and in Cooking Mode.
- A fresh look across the app, with new tab bar icons and Profile organized into color-coded sections.
- Discover is simpler. The search field sits at the bottom of the screen, and every search brings back a fresh set of recipes.
- Searching for a specific dish, like "sweet potato casserole", now brings back more versions of that dish.
- Cooking Mode follows your light or dark setting, and the ingredient list is one tap away at the top of the screen.
- The sign-in screen follows your light or dark setting too.
- Small fixes and polish throughout.
