Drag along the chart and every reading moves with your finger — temperature, what it feels like, the chance of rain and how much, wind and gusts, humidity, dew point, UV, pressure, cloud cover and visibility. Ten days out, hour by hour, at the same resolution the whole way.
THE SKY BEHIND IT
The background is the weather across day, dusk and night. High cloud drifts, rain falls, stars come out, lightning crosses a storm. Scroll the chart see the weather change across the day.
WHAT IT SHOWS
Every one of these is a number for the hour under your finger, and a curve you can put on the chart.
• Temperature, and what it feels like
• Chance of rain by the hour, and the total expected today
• Humidity, with the dew point beside it
• Wind speed, gusts and the direction it is coming from
• UV index, with the day's peak and the hour it arrives
• Cloud cover, and which deck it is in — low, mid or high
• Visibility
• Pressure
• Air quality on the European AQI scale with the pollutant driving it, four days ahead
• Sunrise and sunset, and the sun's path across the day
• The moon's phase, its rise and set, and its path
• Next-hour precipitation, minute by minute, where it is published
• A short written summary of the day, composed on your device
DAILY SUMMARY
The daily summary is generated by the on-device model on supported hardware. The weather it describes goes into that sentence and nothing else does — no figure appears in it that was not in the forecast.
PUDDLE+
Extras that go beyond the forecast, switched on in Settings.
• A rain map: what has fallen, where it is heading, and the hours ahead, with satellite cloud and a note when a storm is near
• Views for the beach, surf, snow and the trail, each with the readings it is read for and a verdict on the day

ABOUT YOUR LOCATION
Your position is rounded to about five kilometres before any request leaves the phone, so the service that answers sees a town rather than an address. There is no account to create, nothing to log in to and no advertising.
