Five translations, all free. The shield that guards your mornings is free too, and always will be. No streaks to lose. No badges. No shame.
Him first. Then your feed.
Him First shields the apps you choose each morning until you've spent a few minutes in the Word. You pick the apps, the morning window, and the reading length (3, 5, or 10 minutes). Read today's passage, and everything opens.
THE SHIELD IS FREE. FOREVER.
Choosing apps, morning windows, the shield itself: none of it is behind a paywall, and none of it ever will be.
FIVE TRANSLATIONS, ALL FREE
World English Bible, King James Version, Berean Standard Bible, American Standard Version, and Reina-Valera 1909. All public domain. Your place in the plan and your bookmarks carry over when you switch.
HONEST BY DESIGN
- This adds a gentle pause to your morning. It can be stepped around, and you can turn it off anytime in iOS Settings.
- No streaks to lose. No badges. No shame. Miss a morning, and tomorrow simply says: He's first again.
- Emergency release opens everything right now, no questions asked.
KEPT ON YOUR PHONE
No accounts. Your reading history and bookmarks never leave your device.
SHARE THE WORD
Press and hold any verse to turn it into a beautiful card worth passing on.
Him First uses Apple's Screen Time technology. You stay in control: permission can be revoked anytime in iOS Settings.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Small honesty update.
To learn which parts of Him First help and which get in the way, the app now counts a handful of anonymous events (like "reading finished"). It never sends what you read, which apps you shield, or your schedule, and there is no tracking of any kind. Details are in the updated privacy policy at himfirst.app/privacy.
Everything else is unchanged: five translations, the shield, and all of it free.
