Holiday color packs, and hunts that start the moment you make them. • 15 new colors and 10 color packs: Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, 4th of July, Spring, Summer, Fall, and the Classic 12. Pick one in a tap. The pack for the time of year comes first. • Start right away: you get your color as soon as you make the hunt, and everyone else gets theirs the moment they join. No waiting in a lobby. • New color reveals: a shuffled deck deals everyone's color, a prize wheel spins for yours, and confetti in your color when it lands. • Drag your photos to any square on your grid while the hunt is on. • Photos you take in the app are saved to your camera roll (you can turn this off). • Hosts can hide the point totals on the results and just show the podium. • Smoother typing when you set up a hunt, and easier-to-read buttons for dark colors.

Anonymous hunts, medal voting, and a tidier home screen. • Anonymous hunts: the host can keep whose grid is whose a secret until the votes are in. Names come out with the results. • Voting is now medals. Give one grid gold, one silver and one bronze, and see your picks at the bottom of the screen before you submit. • Start a hunt and Join stay at the bottom of your hunts list, however many hunts you've played, and older hunts tuck away behind "Show all". • Not feeling your color? The reroll option is easier to find, and keeping your color is always free. • Fixed: dragging squares to rearrange your grid now saves. • Fixed: the sign-up screen no longer flashes up when you open the app. • Guesses and hints have been retired to keep the hunt simple.

Rerolls, and a hunts list that tells you what to do next. • Not feeling your color? Reroll it before you place your first photo. Buy one reroll or unlock unlimited. Nobody else in the hunt sees you do it. • Rerolls spin through the palette with a tick, a chime and a haptic buzz before landing on your new color. • Every hunt on your list has a nine-square grid that fills in your color as you find things, with a count of what's left. • Each hunt shows a countdown to the deadline and a plain line for what to do next: "Find 6 more pink things", "All nine in · waiting on 2 hunters", "Cast your ballot". • Text now scales with your Dynamic Type setting. • A friendlier start screen: "Let's find some colors."

Your grid, your shape, your framing. • Choose the shape of your grid: square, 3:4, or tall 9:16. Everyone sees your grid the way you built it. • Pinch to zoom and drag to choose exactly what fills each square. Change your mind any time before the reveal. • Give your hunt an emoji — flags included — and house rules the whole group can read. • Notifications now appear while you have the app open, and tapping one opens the hunt it's about. • Swapping a square no longer notifies everybody.

Fixes and a smoother way to play. - Fixed a bug that could cost you access to your hunts if you hadn't opened Color Hunt for a while. You now stay you, even after deleting and reinstalling the app. - Fixed a bug that could jump you to a different hunt's screen in the middle of playing. - Tap an empty square to take or choose a photo for it. Camera and Library now sit right under your progress bar. - Photos no longer spill outside their squares. - Joining is easier: copy the whole invite message, tap Paste, and the code is found for you. - Invite links now open a page with the join code and a Copy button.
