Beverlys Voice: Food Diary

Speak meals, track glucose

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Tap the microphone and say it the way you'd tell a friend: "two eggs and a slice of toast with butter." Beverlys Voice turns the sentence into a logged meal with calories, carbohydrates, protein, fiber and sugar, and shows today's total against your own goal. MADE TO BE EASY • Speak it, type it, or say "Hey Siri, log a meal in Beverlys Voice." • Your usual meals appear on the Today screen. Log breakfast again with one tap, or "same as yesterday's." • Tap any meal to change an amount, remove a food, or fix the time. Every log and delete can be undone. • Can't find a food? Add a calorie guess. Logging most days matters more than exact numbers. • Gentle reminders at the times you choose, skipped when you've already logged that meal. • Large text, big buttons and full VoiceOver support. YOUR GOALS, YOUR PACE Set your own daily calorie goal and, if you like, a goal weight. Say "I weigh 182" to log your weight, and see a 7-day average that smooths out day-to-day swings. A kind note counts the days you've logged. There are no streaks to break and no red warnings. SPEAK IT, LOG IT Speech is transcribed on your iPhone with Apple's on-device recognition. Your sentence is understood on the device, with Apple Intelligence where available and a built-in parser everywhere else, and matched against bundled USDA reference data. You see editable cards before anything is saved: pick an alternate, change the size, or type grams. REAL REFERENCE DATA, BUNDLED More than 13,000 foods from the USDA's public-domain FoodData Central, including everyday dishes like pizza, spaghetti with meat sauce and tacos, with household portions. Add your own foods and they match first. A GLUCOSE DIARY THAT CONNECTS THE DOTS Log readings in seconds, or turn on the optional import from Apple Health. Beverlys Voice pairs readings with meals (before, the highest reading after, and whether it settled back) and describes your own day in plain words. Weekly and monthly reports show carbohydrates by meal, fasting and after-meal averages, and how many readings fell inside the target range you enter. YOUR TARGETS, NOT OURS Goals and glucose ranges are the ones you and your healthcare professional choose. The app never calculates a diet, never labels a food good or bad, and never gives advice. It describes your own entries. Sources for the health information it shows are listed in the app. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party code and no network requests. Export your meals and readings as CSV, or delete everything, any time in Settings. The Apple Health connections are optional and off by default. Beverlys Voice is an informational diary. Nutrition numbers are estimates from reference data and your portion entries. It does not diagnose, treat or manage any condition and is not a substitute for the guidance of your care team.
