Spoken and typed answers are scored much more accurately. Dozens of correct answers were being marked wrong and now count: "voting" for "vote", "fourteenth amendment", "only citizens", "nobody is above the law", spelled-out numbers, and answers that name the right thing in your own words. Several wrong answers that were being accepted no longer are. Every question now offers genuinely different options, so no answer can be picked out by its shape instead of by knowing it. Also fixed: the 65/20 study plan asked for more questions than that test contains, and onboarding and Settings offered different study-time choices.

Fixes for problems found since the last update. Interview date: if your saved interview date had already passed, the app kept saying "Your interview is today" every day. It now tells you the date has passed so you can update it. Counting the days no longer depends on the time of day — late in the evening the app could be a day out. Study reminder: the daily reminder no longer claims to be keeping a streak you may not have. Readiness: the practice readiness figure no longer shifts slightly depending on what time you open the app. Reading practice: replaced one sentence that was not a good example to practise on.

This update fixes several problems reported since launch. Audio study guide: questions and answers now play one at a time. They could previously all start together, which made a chapter unusable. Practice: tapping Listen no longer moves you to a different question. Speaking practice: a pause no longer switches the microphone off for the rest of the session, and answers said aloud as letters — "Washington D C" — are now scored correctly. Reading practice: Spanish and Hindi translations are available for every official-vocabulary sentence, not just some. A microphone problem is now reported as a microphone problem rather than counted against your reading. Interview date: entering today's date in the evening no longer reports it as already past. Today's practice now asks you to answer from memory, the way the officer will. Multiple choice is still on the Practice tab. Content: corrected several questions where only one option was the right kind of answer, removed three answers that were wrongly accepted as correct, and fixed two study tips that asked for fewer answers than the question needs.
