gantt puts the whole project on one chart and connects the tasks that actually depend on each other. Move one bar and everything downstream moves with it, including the steps you had forgotten were downstream.

HOW IT WORKS
Zoom the timeline from minutes to months, whatever the project needs. Link the dependent tasks and set the gap between them: two days for paint to cure, a week for a delivery. Switch on the working calendar and the plan stops counting weekends, your days off, and public holidays in your country. Split the big items into subtasks, tag them, add reminders, and fill in progress as you go.
Then something changes, because something always changes. You drag one date and read the new finish date straight off the chart.
