BrewMate: Coffee

Café-quality coffee at home

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Good coffee at home isn't luck. It's a handful of numbers, and BrewMate keeps track of them for you. Pick your brewer, and BrewMate works out the dose, the water, the grind and the temperature. Not sure how much coffee to weigh? It tells you that too. Brew along with the timer, then log what you made. Here's the part other coffee apps don't do. When a cup comes out wrong, tell BrewMate what was off — too sour, too bitter, too weak — and it reads back the brew you actually logged to find the cause. Your water ran cool. Your drawdown took too long. It names the one thing worth changing, and tells you what to leave alone. That's the difference between a calculator and something that teaches you. BrewMate works with pour over (V60, Chemex, Kalita, Origami, Clever), espresso, AeroPress, French press and moka pot. Free: the calculator, the timer, and your first five brews. BrewMate Pro: an unlimited log, the Fix tab, and cloud backup so a new phone opens on the log you already had. $1.99/month with a 7-day free trial.
