iPhone
Your apps open only with the minutes you earn. The camera counts your push-ups, on your iPhone. New: try the Daily Reset free, nine gentle movements.
Your screen time, but you earn it.
Nitor Fit doesn't stop you from opening Instagram. It asks for something first: a few push-ups, a few squats, or a walk. You choose which apps steal your time, and from then on they only open if you've moved.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick the app that loses you the most time.
2. Nitor locks it.
3. When you want it back, exercise in front of the camera. Nitor counts your reps and turns them into minutes.
4. Spend those minutes whenever you like. When they run out, the app locks itself again.
Every rep is minutes. Every thousand steps, five more.
A CREATURE THAT GROWS WITH YOU
Nitor isn't a progress bar. It's a creature that starts inside an egg and fills with light with every rep you do. Seven forms, from egg to a being made of pure light.
And its light never goes down. If you don't move one day, nothing happens: it stays exactly as bright, waiting for you. No broken streaks, no guilt. Only what you add.
WHY IT WORKS
Because the problem was never willpower. It's that opening an app costs nothing. Nitor puts a small price on it, and that's enough to stop you doing it without thinking.
And along the way, without really trying, you end the day having moved.
EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR IPHONE
No accounts. No sign-up. No servers. No ads.
The camera only counts your reps, right here on your phone, using Apple's own technology. No image is recorded and nothing leaves your device. Ever.
We don't even know which apps you blocked: that stays between you and iOS.

Nitor comes from Latin: to strive, pushing off something to propel yourself… and also to shine. Effort and light, the same word.

This release comes from what the first people using Nitor told us. Thank you for writing.
• You can now try the Daily Reset for free. Nine gentle one-minute movements, no floor, no equipment and no counting reps, guided by Nitor. Once, all the way through, at no cost.
• Opening a blocked app now shows Nitor instead of the system's grey screen. And the button brings you back to the app.
• Push-ups are counted better. If you didn't go all the way down, you used to get nothing counted and no way to know why. Now that rep counts anyway and Nitor tells you what to adjust.
• And if you stop straightening your arms as you tire, you no longer lose every rep after that.
• Fixed: if you picked a whole group of apps instead of one, Nitor said it was protecting you and blocked nothing.
• With the iPhone in English, no Spanish text slips through any more.
• Nitor no longer assumes who it's talking to.
• The morning Reset reminder can be set to any time between 5 and 12.
• New button to redeem a code on the Nitor Pro screen.
