WHY THE NUMBERS ARE RIGHT
Most fuel apps assume you always fill the tank. Real people don't. FuelJot asks how you filled up — to the brim, when the low-fuel light came on, or neither — and keeps the first two in separate chains that never mix. Partial top-ups and fixed amounts carry forward to the next real anchor instead of producing a made-up figure. Change your habits mid-way and your history stays accurate.
Miss an entry? Mark it, and only that stretch is set aside. Everything before and after still counts.

YOUR DATA IS YOURS
FuelJot has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. There is not one line of networking code in the app. Nothing you enter leaves your iPhone unless you send it somewhere yourself — or switch on the daily iCloud Drive backup, which writes a copy into your own iCloud and nowhere else.
That matters more than it sounds. Fuel logs are worth something only because they are years long. If an app that holds your data on its servers shuts down, those years can go with it. FuelJot cannot lose your records, because it never had them — they are in a file on your phone, and iOS backs that file up with the rest of your device.
