Kura shows any article one line at a time and, when you want, reads it to you in a natural voice made on your iPhone. Drop in a link, share a page from Safari, paste the text (out of a PDF, an email, anywhere), or photograph a printed page. Kura shows it one line at a time: the line you're on is dark, and the rest of the page stays faded until you get there. Tap, and the next one comes. Nothing to scroll past, nothing to skim ahead to, no wall of text making you feel behind. A long read becomes one line, then the next, all the way to the end. Whenever you'd rather listen, tap the waveform. A natural voice made on your iPhone reads the piece straight through, bringing each line up as it reaches it and lighting every word as it says it, so your eyes and your ears move together. Speed it up and it still sounds like a person. Kura reads while it's open, and carries on from the same line when you come back. Kura was built for anyone whose eyes skim ahead, and for readers with dyslexia or ADHD. If a full page is hard going, one line at a time is a size you can manage. Hold any line to highlight it, or to add a note (Pro). Finish a piece and its cover goes on your shelf, with your highlights gathered beneath it. Reading is free, all of it.
