A fresh new look, and: • Trip reminders: the evening before each day, 30 minutes before each stop and 3 hours before a flight. They're scheduled on your phone, so they arrive even with no signal. • Your location on the map now follows you as you walk. It never leaves your phone. • A friend's changes appear on the open map without it reloading. • 29 more currencies, with search. • New categories for stops, expenses and packing, plus suggested packing items you can add for everyone at once. • Expenses now have a date, and payments live under Settle up. • Many fixes, including edits no longer being lost during a sync. Travelling as a group? Ask everyone to update, so you all see the new currencies and categories.

Bug fixes: • Editing an expense split by shares or percentages no longer changes how it's split. • Editing an expense in another currency no longer changes its converted amount. • Packing items ticked or added in quick succession are no longer lost.

A brand-new map, built for group trips. • English labels everywhere, so maps in Japan, China or Korea are easy to read. • Places on the map: cafés, restaurants, temples, sights and stations. Tap one to add it to your plan. • Hold anywhere to drop a pin and add it as a stop. Drag a stop's pin to move it. • Real walking and driving routes between your stops, with travel times. Routes you've viewed stay available offline. • Save the map for offline use: keep the streets around your stops for when there's no signal. (Areas saved in earlier versions need saving again.) • Stop suggestions now follow the day you're planning, so a Kyoto day suggests Kyoto places. • The expense list now uses the whole screen as you scroll. • Fixes: sharing a sample trip, the Save button behind the keyboard, and archived trips staying read-only.

• Number keyboards now have a Done button, and you can drag any form down to put the keyboard away. • Receipts synced from a friend's phone now appear straight away, without reopening the expense. • Small fixes to the split and settle-up screens.

• Sharing a trip is now a clear, deliberate step. Tap "Start Sharing This Trip" and the code you see is live and ready for friends to join. No more codes that weren't set up yet. • Expenses now show how they were split: "/ea" only for even splits, with the split type shown otherwise. • Receipts: a receipt icon appears on any expense that has one, and you can pinch to zoom on the full-size photo. • The map's day chips now match your trip's actual length. • Screen headers no longer sit under the notch or Dynamic Island on any iPhone. • Weather now comes from MET Norway, the Norwegian Meteorological Institute. Where rain chances aren't available, the forecast shows expected rainfall instead. • Travel times on the map are now estimates. Tap Navigate for turn-by-turn directions in Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze. • Saving map areas for offline use is paused while we move to our own map data. It returns in the next update, and areas you've already saved still work. • Settings now shows the correct app version.
