A completely redesigned app, calmer and easier to use, with a new recorder. New: notifications when someone rates or replies to your take; follow singers and hear their new takes first; search singers and songs, with trending takes and genres to explore; a weekly singing challenge with its own chart; share any take as a link; vote takes, reviews and replies up or down; filter the feed by several genres at once. Recording with Bluetooth earbuds now uses the phone's microphone, so takes no longer sound muffled, and you can pick the microphone. Pause to listen back to what you have sung so far. Recording also counts you in, warns when you are too quiet or too loud, and lets you trim the start and end. Playback controls appear on the lock screen and in Control Centre. • Profiles: tap any singer's or listener's name to see their songs, their scores and how much they listen. • Charts: tap the trophy on Listen for this week's top takes, this month's top singers and the week's most generous listeners. Scores are weighted by how many people rated, so a single rating can't top a board. • Fixes: profile stats are easier to read, and song cards no longer get cut off on smaller screens.
