Outstride: Real-World Races

Race anyone, anywhere

Free · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.

Real races on your own schedule. Enter, run it anywhere before the window closes, and the fastest verified finish takes the title. Recorded on Apple Watch. Outstride is real racing on your own schedule. Enter a race, run the distance anywhere you like before the window closes, and the fastest verified finish takes the title. No start line, no crowd — just you, the clock, and everyone else who entered. HOW IT WORKS Enter a race — a 5K, a 10K, a half, a marathon, the mile. Run it anywhere, any day inside the window, from your Apple Watch. When the window closes, every finish is verified and the results are published. VERIFIED, NOT TAKEN ON TRUST Every run is recorded on Apple Watch and checked against its own heart-rate, motion and GPS data before it counts. A time on an Outstride board was earned on foot. That's what makes the fastest time worth chasing. RESULTS DAY Results stay sealed until you open them. Then the podium is revealed one place at a time — and you find out where you finished. If you made the podium, you'll know about it. THE RECORD Your profile is your career. Personal bests at every distance. Rivals — the runners who keep finishing right beside you, and the score between you. A bib for every race you finish. Medals for every podium. RACE YOUR FRIENDS Share any open race straight from the app. Nothing beats a rival you know. APPLE WATCH REQUIRED Outstride records every race on Apple Watch — it's how a run gets verified. You'll need one paired to your iPhone to enter a race. FOR THE TITLE There are no entry fees and no prizes of monetary value. You race for the record, the podium, and the right to say you were fastest. Bragging rights, earned.
