Face tools depend on a detected face; available adjustments depend on the photo. MANUAL LIQUIFY Push, twirl, pinch or expand parts of a photo with a brush. Adjust brush size and strength, and use local restore to reduce your liquify changes. ADD YOUR OWN WORDS Add text with templates, fonts and styles. Choose colors, outlines and shadows, then move, resize or rotate your text to fit the composition. BACKGROUND BLUR Soften distractions with background blur and bokeh effects. Adjust the intensity and clear area to suit your photo, then compare the result before saving. FIND YOUR LOOK Explore filters across Portrait, Color, Film, Soft Focus, Monochrome and Creative styles. Adjust the intensity and keep your favorites close at hand. FINE-TUNE LIGHT AND COLOR Adjust exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, white balance and sharpness. Explore HSL color controls, RGB curves and color grading, with undo and redo as you edit. CROP AND COMPOSE Crop freely or choose a preset ratio. Rotate, straighten and adjust perspective to refine your composition. CANVAS AND SIMPLE BORDERS Keep the whole photo visible within a larger canvas. Choose an aspect ratio, add an even border, or use a solid or transparent canvas background. This tool does not cut out subjects or replace the background inside your photo. MAKE SMALL TOUCH-UPS Paint over small unwanted marks with the manual Healing Brush and review the result. Repairs use nearby image content and may leave artifacts on complex textures or edges. MARK DETAILS YOUR WAY Add arrows, lines, shapes and magnified details. Choose colors, adjust opacity and sample colors from your photo. EXPLORE MOSAIC STYLES Apply pixelation, blur and decorative mosaic effects with a brush or shapes. Adjust effects and erase selected areas. Smart selections can help target faces, people or backgrounds; results depend on the photo. Decorative styles may leave details visible, so check before sharing. SAVE A NEW COPY Save in JPEG, HEIC or PNG, or use the iOS share sheet. Choose standard or original-size output, with quality options for JPEG and HEIC. Your original photo stays unchanged. EDIT ON YOUR DEVICE Edit without an account, advertising or a subscription. Photo processing stays on your device. Photo and camera access are requested only for the features you choose. IMAGE AND SESSION LIMITS Supported image sizes and edit combinations depend on the photo, effect and device resources. Some large images or combinations may be unavailable. Standard output has a long edge of at most 2048 pixels; original-size output follows the final crop and canvas. Live Photos and animations are imported as a still frame. Editing sessions are not automatically saved as projects. Online help and legal pages require an internet connection.
