Ads now run in the app, the same ones as on the website, and they pay for running What I've Heard. They stay off the contact form and your account page, and your concert record never reaches an advertiser. On iPhone, Apple asks once whether our ad partners may use your phone's advertising identifier to choose the ads you see. Say no and the ads still appear, just not chosen that way, and the app works exactly the same.

Going to a show? On a band's page, under Upcoming, pick the night from the dates on sale and it leads your home page until then. Once it has passed, we ask whether you were there. A night's setlist prints as a sheet of paper, the songs in the order they were played, for the journal or the fridge door. Your home page shows the nights you were at on today's date in earlier years. What I've Kept, a beta: the shirt from your first gig, the pick that flew off the stage, the poster you carried home, filed under the band and the night. And one Update button on a band's archive for both setlist.fm refreshes.

Your shelf has a Live Music Passport now: medals for the nights you have been to, from Bronze to Diamond - nights with each band, countries, cities, venues, years out and more. When a night you tick takes one up a phase, the new medal is pressed in front of you. Keep a wish list of the artists you want to see live one day: when they announce dates, they show up on your home page. You can also build the dream setlist you would want from a band, and share it. A band's albums are a crate of records now, each showing how much of it you have heard live, and a record heard all the way through goes in your passport. Send a card straight to Instagram, X, Threads, Facebook, WhatsApp or Messages, and pull a sheet down to close it.

A new look for the app. Every screen names itself in the bar at the top, and a band's four pages - the archive, your nights, your record and the albums - sit together under its name. The nights are ticket stubs now: open one for its setlist, and your phone gives a small tap when you tick a night. Your shelf and the concert board come in pages, your record's poster, ticket, map and bragging rights share one studio, and the albums read like liner notes.

A tab bar at the foot of the screen, so the shelf, the board, your life in live music and your account are one tap away wherever you are. The concert board's filters sit in a sheet behind one button, instead of four menus taking most of the screen. The blank band that sat under the tab bar on some phones is gone.

A fresh set of screenshots on the App Store. Nothing has changed inside the app.
