YOUR DAILY PUZZLE GARDEN
Find mate in one, two and three with the Pawn, Knight and Queen challenges. Everyone worldwide gets the same daily positions. Resume where you left off, reset without losing your timer, or confirm a hint for one winning move and a one-minute penalty.
Complete the trio to grow your streak. Ready for more? The optional mate-in-five Challenger has no hints, a lifetime wins leaderboard and an extra celebration. It never puts your daily streak at risk.
YOUR PLACE IN THE GARDEN
Explore beautiful in-app rankings, compare with friends and see the trophy that marks your place. The daily boards rank eligible first-completion times; Challenger counts eligible wins, at most one per UTC day. Share your achievement and choose an optional daily reminder.

Revisit dates when you opened Pawnpetal, replay verified solutions and explore the purpose of each move. Optional AI-assisted teaching highlights use verified chess facts on supported devices. Local explanations remain available when Apple Intelligence is unavailable. Completing older visited days can repair personal streaks; expired results cannot enter a later competition.
PLAY YOUR WAY
Practice offline against three bot levels, share a device, connect nearby, or play through Game Center. Choose turn-based games at your own pace or live 10-minute games. Replay saved games, step through moves and export PGN.
MAKE THE BOARD YOURS
Classic Clarity and Pastel Garden are included. Discover 35 optional character sets, themed boards and capture effects. Daily puzzles feature a premium set you can preview in the Store. Choose individual purchases or All Access. Paid cosmetics never change the chess rules or grant a competitive advantage.
PLAY COMFORTABLY
Use tap or drag controls, classic symbols, board coordinates, light or dark appearance, and separate sound, haptic and motion settings. Explore personal statistics and 109 hidden achievements. Puzzle progress is tracked separately from ordinary games.
Requires iOS/iPadOS 26.6 or macOS 26.6 or later. Actual Private Cloud Compute highlights require the PCC build, OS 27 or later, system availability and separate consent. Optional private iCloud sync shares puzzle history and results; active boards and timing recovery remain on their starting device. Game Center and online services require connectivity. No advertising or analytics SDK is included.
