Signal is now Amplii, with a new name on your Home Screen. Your settings and any purchase carry over automatically. Fixes and improvements • Tapping a mode, Arc, Ears & tone or Settings now always opens the one you touched. Before, a tap could sometimes open the item next to it. • Sessions pick up again after an alarm or a phone call interrupts them. • Switching headphones mid-session no longer cuts the sound, and taking your headphones off now pauses the session. • Starting without headphones now shows a clearer prompt, so you can connect them or begin anyway. • During a session, End now sits at the top right, and the session pauses while asking if you want to stop. • The session screen shows the mode and its range instead of a changing number. • The new Amplii logo.

The arc now moves at a pace that suits each mode. Sleep descends slowly — twelve minutes to settle, because the point is to be asleep before it finishes — and barely climbs back at the end. Energy gets going in ninety seconds. Focus reaches working frequency quickly, then lets you down gently. Previously every session ramped for a quarter of its length, whatever that length was, so an hour-long session spent thirty minutes traveling and only half of it at the frequency you chose. You can now set both ramp lengths yourself, independently, for each mode. The arc and the ear settings also open for everyone now. You'll see the full shape of your session and exactly how long each phase takes, whether or not you've unlocked the controls. And the pink noise bed is free, as it was always meant to be — it had been sitting behind the purchase screen by mistake, where nobody could reach it.
