Slowed-down playback and scrubbing of takes with more than one voice (chords, two instruments together) now sound cleaner. Fixes to the volume fader and to lifting a finger while scrubbing.

Slowed-down listening sounds much closer to the real thing. - Scrubbing and slow playback on the Record page are rebuilt: notes, slides and vibrato keep their pitch and tone as you drag through a take, for voices as well as whistles and fiddles. - A Volume fader, from silent up to +36 dB above the level the take was recorded at, with 0 dB marked. - Playback speed now goes from 0.1x up to 10x. - A Rewind button returns to the start of a take (Home on a keyboard).

Pitchscope now fits the iPad, in portrait and landscape. - On a tall iPad screen the staff shows two lines of music, like a page. - Tabs, the take list and the playback controls are sized for a big screen. - With a keyboard: Space freezes or plays, and R records. - Pinch on a trackpad to zoom the sonogram and your takes. - A fresh Kidwiz look.

Smoother playback and scrubbing in the Record view. - During playback the playhead moves to the middle of the screen and the take scrolls with it, including while you zoom. - Drag a finger across a take to hear it continuously; hold still to sustain the note under your finger.

A new Record view for studying fast tunes and ornaments. - Record a take, and see its pitch drawn live as you play. - After you stop, a finer analysis catches quick cuts, taps and rolls. - Slow playback from 0.1x to 2x with pitch kept, scrub, and zoom in time and pitch. - Keep several takes in a list, named by date and time; rename any of them. Recordings stay in memory until you close the app and are never saved or sent anywhere.

Pitchscope is rebuilt to match the rest of the Kidwiz family. - Swipe between Sonogram, Pitch and Staff, or tap their tabs. - Freeze and Listen sit together at the bottom of the screen. - A new About page with support and privacy links. - The new Kidwiz icon.

The volume meter now sits beside play and stop, with a threshold slider under it: notes are only analysed when you play louder than the threshold, so room noise stays off the staff. On iPhone in portrait, the staff is smaller and scrolls at a pace where fast eighth notes no longer overlap. The screen stays on while Pitchscope is open.
