Promptbook keeps the AI prompts and instructions you reuse in one private place on your iPhone. Speak or type a prompt once, keep it in a pile, and tap to copy it whenever you need it again.
JUST SAY IT
• Tap "Say something" and talk. Promptbook writes it down for you, right on your iPhone.
• Transcription happens on device, in English (India), English (US) or Hindi.
• Your original recording is kept. Tap "Hear it back" to listen again.
• Prefer to type? Write a prompt yourself, and tidy up any prompt whenever you like.
TAP ONCE TO COPY
• Tap a card to copy its full text, then paste it into any app.
• With Universal Clipboard, paste it on your other Apple devices, too.
• Touch and hold a card to share it with another app.
• New prompts sit on top, and the ones you use most rise.
KEEP IT IN PILES
• File prompts into piles such as Writing, Research or Ideas.
• Rename, recolor, add or delete piles. A prompt never has to be filed.
FIND IT IN SECONDS
• Search your prompts by the words in them.
• Filter by pile, with a count on each one.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, ads, analytics, server or subscription.
• Your prompts and recordings are stored on your iPhone, not on a server.
• Export a text backup and import it later. It includes your text, dates and piles, but not audio.
• Deleted the wrong prompt? Undo it for a few seconds.
GOOD TO KNOW
• Promptbook stores the prompts you create. It doesn't generate responses or connect to any AI service.
• Transcription depends on your iPhone, iOS version and Apple's speech language files, which may need a one-time download. If it isn't available, your recording is kept and you can type the words yourself.
• Designed for iPhone. Requires iOS 17 or later.
