Learn Morse code by ear, one character at a time. Want to learn CW, the Morse code used in amateur radio? Start with listening lessons, try sending, then talk with other people in Morse Chat. No radio or extra hardware needed.
LEARN BY LISTENING
Start with a few letters. Listen, type what you hear and add more characters as you improve. The Koch method teaches each character by its sound. Set your own speed and use extra space between characters (Farnsworth spacing) when you need more time.
PRACTISE SENDING
Use the on-screen paddle to send dots and dashes. Check the timing of your characters and spaces. For practice with a physical paddle, connect it through an optional OpenShack Box.
SEE YOUR PROGRESS
Review your accuracy and the characters that need more work. Lessons, settings and progress stay on your device. Export and import your profiles, including compatible OpenShack desktop trainer profiles.
MORSE CHAT
Join a room and practise with other people over the internet. Type a message to send it as Morse code, or use the screen key. Share a lobby or room link and QR code with a friend: they can join in a web browser. No app needed. Connect with a callsign or name.
Chat rules are available in English and German. Block a callsign on this device or prepare an email report for support. A small word filter checks typed chat; live paddle and straight-key CW is not filtered. You review and send reports yourself.
KEEP PRACTISING
Advanced Practice offers characters, groups, words and amateur-radio callsigns at your chosen speed. It has its own profile, so your beginner lesson progress stays separate.
Lessons and Advanced Practice work offline. Morse Chat, Network Box connections and website links need internet access. Training results are not posted to public leaderboards.
English interface for iPhone and iPad. One purchase includes all three modes. No ads, subscription or account registration.
The OpenShack Box is optional and sold separately. Compatible firmware is required for Bluetooth LE or Network Box. Generic USB serial hardware is not supported on iOS. The About screen links to the manual and help.

Raise media volume to hear CW; Silent Mode may stay enabled. Practice stops when the app enters the background or the device locks.
