Nanotun

Your servers. Your network.

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Nanotun is the client for a self-hosted, open-source private network. Deploy the gateway on your own server, import its profile with a QR code or a nanotun:// link, and connect your iPhone and iPad to your own network — no third party in the data path. YOUR TRAFFIC, YOUR SERVER • The data plane runs only between your device and the gateway you operate. Nanotun's cloud never carries, inspects or logs your traffic. • Connection credentials are stored in the device keychain and are never uploaded. • The gateway software is open source. Audit it, run it anywhere. NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED • Import a profile and connect. Every core feature works without signing up. • An account is only needed for optional cloud sync of your node list across devices and for team distribution. BUILT FOR DAILY USE • Mesh-only or full-tunnel routing, switchable in one tap. • Smart transport mode picks the best protocol automatically (QUIC or TLS), or pin one yourself. • Network protection (kill switch) blocks traffic while the tunnel is down. • Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, Home Screen quick actions, optional speed limits. • Subnet routing reaches your NAS, printers and other LAN devices behind the gateway. • No ads, no analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs. TEAMS • Distribute nodes to team members by group, revoke access when someone leaves, and see which devices are signed in. PLANS Every tunnel feature is available on every plan, including Free (1 seat, no account required). Optional subscriptions add cloud sync of your node list and team distribution, and apply to the same account on every platform: • Personal — 1 seat, sync up to 3 nodes: US$2.00 / month or US$19.00 / year • Starter — 5 seats, 10 nodes: US$5.00 / month or US$48.00 / year • Team — 20 seats, 10 nodes: US$20.00 / month or US$191.99 / year • Organization — 50 seats, 20 nodes: US$50.00 / month or US$479.99 / year Prices are shown in your local currency in the app. Subscriptions are billed to your Apple Account and renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Privacy Policy: https://www.nanotun.com/privacy.html Terms of Service: https://www.nanotun.com/terms.html Support: https://www.nanotun.com/support.html Nanotun requires a gateway that you (or your team) deploy. It is not a public VPN service and does not provide servers or IP addresses.

Ratings & Reviews

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

• Fixed direct connections to networks excluded from the tunnel becoming unavailable after a large upload while network protection is on; previously only reconnecting restored them. • Improved reliability when the device switches between Wi‑Fi and cellular while connected: the tunnel and direct connections now follow the active network.
