Record a talking-head video without watching yourself. A faint outline keeps you centered, the screen lights your face, and your script scrolls under the lens.
Founder Camera is a front camera for people who have something to say to camera and keep looking at themselves instead of the lens.
It never shows you your face while you talk. In place of a live preview, a faint outline drawn from the depth sensor shows where you are in the frame, so you can center yourself and check your headroom without watching yourself. The whole screen becomes a soft lamp on your face: warm, cool, daylight, or off. And your script scrolls just under the lens, so your eyes stay where your audience is.
WRITE IT ONCE
Scripts are plain Markdown. Write one in the app, paste one from Notes, or drop a file into the Founder Camera folder in iCloud Drive from your Mac and it appears on your phone. Headings are stage markers you do not read aloud, a rule is a beat to pause on, and each script remembers the pace you found for it.
ONE TAKE
A short countdown, then the take begins and the script starts moving. The microphone chip moves with your voice before you press record, so you know you are being heard. Plug in a wired or USB-C microphone and the app uses it. When you stop, the take is saved to Photos and you are told how long it runs and whether the sound is there.
NOTHING ABOUT YOU
No account. Takes go to your Photos library. Scripts live in your own iCloud Drive. The only thing that leaves your phone is an anonymous crash report and a count of takes, never what you say or record, and you can turn that off in Settings.
The outline comes from the front depth sensor on every iPhone with Face ID. Without one, Founder Camera finds you in the camera image instead, a little softer at the edges. It records in portrait and landscape, and the outline turns with the phone.
