Rename photo, video, and document files by capture or modified date. Preview every change and undo the latest batch.
Date Renamer is a batch file renaming app for iPhone. Organize photo, video, and document file names by date in the folders you choose from the Files app.
It uses capture dates first and can fall back to modified dates when needed, so files from cameras and scanners stay in a clear chronological order. Preview every new name before you rename.
Key features
• Batch rename files using capture dates or modified dates
• Use millisecond-precise or custom date formats
• Choose date-only, date-first, or date-last naming styles
• Add automatic or custom labels for images and videos
• Preview old and new names side by side
• Detect name conflicts and rename safely in two stages
• Undo the latest batch rename
• Work in folders selected from the Files app, including iCloud Drive and shared folders
Date Renamer changes file names only. It does not edit or upload file contents, and it does not automatically download iCloud files.
It cannot rename the names of assets inside the Photos app library. Save photos in a folder in the Files app to rename those file names.
