The + is easy to find again on iOS 27. • On iOS 27 the + for adding an item had turned into a fifth tab called "Add" at the end of the bar, where it was easy to miss. It's back to its own round button beside the bar, as on iOS 26. Tap it to add an item, or drag it onto your list to drop a new item right where you let go. • Nothing changes on iOS 26.

A fix for a freeze while adding items. • If you closed an Add Item row while its keyboard was still up, in a template or on a trip's lists, the app could freeze. Now the row closes, the keyboard goes down, and you can keep going. • Picking an emoji for a template, a trip or a section gets the same fix.

Two fixes to the editors in your library, and a clearer answer about templates. • Opening an item while you were typing in a section or kit's name or description no longer throws you back to the top of the editor when you close it. The list stays where it was and the keyboard stays down. The template editor works the same way. • An item that shows where else it lives, sitting right under an item with a note, is no longer taller than the rows around it. • Settings > Quick Answers > What's a Template? now explains that a template holds your real library items, not copies of them. A few of the built-in library items change name or quantity as part of it, and if an older reset left you with duplicate copies of the built-in templates, the ones you never changed are tidied away. Saving a trip as a template is one screen now, not two. Your custom sections join your Section Library when you save, and a name that's already taken is settled right there instead of in an alert. Templates work the way you'd expect them to. A template holds your real library items rather than a second copy of them, and stores what that template wants: its own note, quantity, Critical and charge reminder per item. Type a new item into a template and it joins your Item Library when you save. Reset Libraries no longer crashes. Be clear on what it does, though: it clears all three libraries — the templates you've saved included — and builds them back from the defaults. Your trips are kept. Export Library Data first if you want a copy of what's in there. The app looks and feels different. It's set in SF Rounded now unless you picked a font yourself. A trip's phases slide in instead of appearing. Lists crossfade. Quantity numbers roll up and down as you change them, and hold still if you use Reduce Motion. A sheet's checkmark answers as your finger lands rather than when you lift it, and there's a short haptic behind the taps worth feeling. Section colors hold up in Dark Mode and with Increase Contrast, and there's a new app icon. Also in this version: • Ticked items leave together instead of one at a time, so the list stops moving under your thumb • The keyboard follows your finger down on every sheet • Taking an item off a trip is Remove, never Delete — it changes nothing outside that trip • Deleting an item takes a to-do with it only when nothing else still needs that to-do, and asks first • One ＋ Add Item picker, wherever you add from • Sections before kits, A–Z, in every list of places • Dress clothes scale with the length of the trip • Counts read as words where a sentence starts with one • Export Library Data, under Settings → Reset Options One-time purchase. No subscription. Nothing leaves your phone unless you export it yourself.
