Winter on the trails: night mode turns on at sunset, rain radar on the map, and closures routed around. Free, and no account needed to look around. Free trail companion for central Indiana. Walk, run or ride about 140 trails and multi-use paths, from the Monon and the Nickel Plate to the Cultural Trail, with the trail you're on, the nearest restroom and what's on nearby. Hamilton, Marion, Hendricks and Boone Counties, including Cool Creek, Geist Greenway and the Noblesville Riverwalk. No account needed to look around or record a ride. EXPLORE Speed, temperature, humidity, grade, a compass, and the wind, with whether it's a headwind, tailwind or crosswind for you. It names the trail you're on and the nearest mile marker, points to the nearest public restroom, and warns you when a reported hazard or closure is just ahead. Big numbers shows speed, distance and time large for the handlebars. Need help is one tap away, with what to tell a 911 dispatcher. YOUR RIDE Tap Start trip and the timer and odometer run, pausing when you stop. On iPhone, recording keeps going with the screen locked, and your speed, distance, trail and next turn show on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. End ride takes two taps, so a bump can't end your ride, then shows an Activity summary to share, export as GPX or save to Apple Health. ROUTES AND LOOPS Walk, jog, run, bike or e-bike. Start from where you are or from any place, trail or address, prefer trails or avoid hills, add stops, and compare up to three routes by time, distance, share on trails and climb, with an elevation chart and what's along each one. Or pick a distance for a loop that starts and ends where you are. Routes go around reported closures, tell you about hazards on the way, read each turn aloud, and find a new way if you go off course. Export a route as GPX for the Bosch eBike Flow app. MAP Trails, restaurants, groceries and gas, public restrooms, trailheads, parks, libraries, bike repair, AEDs and water fountains. Tap a trail for its facts: length, paved or not, lighting, restrooms, road crossings per mile, how hilly it is and whether it's family-friendly. Layers add hazards and closures, the community heat map and rain radar. WEATHER AND HIGH WATER The weather strip scrolls through the next few hours: temperature, chance of rain and gusts, and when rain is coming. Where a National Weather Service river gauge covers a trail, the trail gets a High water warning when the river is high or forecast to be. NEARBY Events by day and places nearest first, with restrooms, repair stands, trailheads and parks one tap away. Events come from city, county, parks and library calendars, each with a link to where it was listed. On iPhone, Remind me works without an account. NIGHT MODE Turns on at sunset and off at sunrise, map included, or choose Day or Night yourself. WITH A FREE ACCOUNT Sign in with Apple, Google or your email to report a hazard or closure, suggest a place, save events, share a ride live, and keep your rides on your own page with weekly and all-time totals, notes and photos. Adding your rides to the community heat map is your choice, and the start and finish are left off. Without an account your rides stay on your phone. SHARE YOUR RIDE LIVE Signed in, tap share on Explore to send a private link. Anyone with it can follow your ride in a browser, under the nickname you choose, without the app or an account, until 24 hours after the ride ends. RIDE VIDEOS Watch rides on central Indiana's trails at trailbuzz317.com/rides, the video beside the map with speed, wind and weather. Signed in, add your own camera's video to a past ride and publish it if you like. APPLE HEALTH Save a finished ride as a walk, run or bike workout. trailbuzz317 only adds the rides you choose; it never reads your health data. REPORT WHAT YOU FIND Signed in, report a hazard or closure, or suggest a place, from where you're standing. A reviewer checks it before it appears on anyone else's map. Trail geometry from OpenStreetMap. Weather from Open-Meteo and the National Weather Service; radar and river gauges from NOAA.

- Nearby: Today, Tomorrow and This weekend stay right through the clock change, and events that have ended drop off the list. - Smoother riding: the ride numbers update without redrawing the whole screen. - Clearer privacy wording, and recording a video for one of your rides now asks for the microphone. - Corrected trail count: about 140 named trails and multi-use paths. Short connectors under half a mile are on the map but not listed. Questions, or something wrong on the map? admin@trailbuzz317.com
