- One map for every city: all the spots, Kobe and Osaka so far, on the same map. Zoom out and nearby spots group into a number; tap it to zoom in. - Pick a city in the Guide, or see everywhere at once. The app opens on the city you're in. - Your saved spots are grouped by city.

- More tools for the editors behind the guide, so new spots get added faster. - Small fixes.

- Behind-the-scenes tools for the editors, so new photos and smoking corrections get checked faster. - Small fixes.

- Your display name now lives in Settings and is used for every photo you add, so the photo sheet no longer asks for it each time. - "Taken here" photos are grouped by day with the time on each, so you can tell your visits apart. - New: smoking info on every bar — smoking allowed, heated tobacco & e-cigs only, separate smoking area, or non-smoking. Spot something wrong? Tap "Suggest a change".

- Adding photos: the ones you took at that bar now appear first, so you don't have to scroll back through your whole library. (NOMIMICHI asks for photo access once; your library never leaves your phone.) - The keyboard no longer pops up when you open the photo sheet.

- Pull down on the guide, a spot or your saved list to load the latest photos and info. - Photos you add now show up without restarting the app. - The app checks for updates more often when you come back to it.

- The map now uses Apple Maps, with street, station and area names in English (or Japanese, following your language setting). - Sign-in buttons show the Apple, Google, LINE and X logos. - On a Mac, the app is now called NOMIMICHI instead of "App".
