Prompter — Teleprompter Video
Voice-guided script & captions
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Your script scrolls right under the camera, follows your voice, and turns into captions. No account, no sign-in, no servers of ours.
Prompter turns your iPhone into a professional teleprompter. Your script scrolls right under the camera, so you look straight at the lens — and people see you, not your notes.
READ WITHOUT LOSING YOUR PLACE
• Smooth scrolling with a reading line you can place where you like
• Voice tracking: the text follows your voice, waits when you pause, catches up when you improvise
• Tap to pause, drag to move — it carries on from there
• Mirror mode for beam-splitter teleprompter rigs
• Landscape layout and full iPad support
RECORD WHILE YOU READ
• Film with the front or back camera while the script scrolls
• Lens stops (0.5×, 1×, 2×), brightness, focus and exposure lock, 24/30/60 fps, up to 4K
• A live microphone meter, and external mics are recognized by name
• Pause and resume in the middle of a take
• Nothing is lost: an interruption or a crash still leaves a playable video
FINISH IN EXACTLY 60 SECONDS
• Set a target time and the speed paces itself
• A live coach shows whether you are ahead or behind
CAPTIONS FROM YOUR OWN WORDS
• Captions are built from your script, so every name and spelling is right
• Burn them into the video, or export an .srt for YouTube, Premiere or CapCut
• Style them your way: ready-made looks, fonts, colors, size and position, with a live preview
MADE FOR REAL SCRIPTS
• Import from PDF, Word, RTF, HTML or plain text
• Mark emphasis, private notes and pauses — they never appear in your video
• Scripts sync through your own iCloud; videos stay on your device
EVERYTHING RUNS ON YOUR IPHONE
No account, no sign-in, no server. Your scripts and videos never leave your device except through your own iCloud.
TRY IT FREE, THEN PRO
Your first recording — or your first read of your own script — is free, with every Pro feature. After that, Prompter needs a Pro subscription: unlimited scripts and recording, 4K, voice tracking and captions.
Prompter Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription; the price is shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings ▸ your name ▸ Subscriptions.
