KidMind: Feelings for Kids
Emotions & empathy story game
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
KidMind helps children ages 5–10 understand what they’re feeling — and what to do about it.
It’s a story your child plays through. Robbie, a little robot, crash-lands in Anna’s backyard and is sure he’s broken: his chest lamp flickers, sparks fly from his ears, drops appear on his screen. Your child helps him find out that these are feelings — and learns a little more about their own along the way.
HOW A LEVEL GOES
• A comic opens every level. Voiced, with music, and each episode stops right at the good part.
• Play through it. Little games carry the story: calm Robbie with your finger, look inside with his scanner, sort what to tell a grown-up, breathe slowly together, walk through Anna’s house and choose what to say.
• Talk it through. Your child talks to Robbie out loud, like a call, and Robbie answers what they actually said.
• A level takes about 10 minutes and ends on a cliffhanger.
MISTAKES ARE SAFE HERE
No red crosses and no hearts to lose. If an answer doesn’t fit, a character gives a nudge and your child tries again.
A LITTLE EVERY DAY
Each day of practice charges Robbie’s battery, and a good week brings something new into Robbie’s room.
WHAT YOUR CHILD PRACTICES
Noticing a feeling, putting a name on it, understanding why it came, talking about it, seeing it in others and choosing what to do.
FOR PARENTS
• No ads.
• A parent signs in with a code sent by email.
• Settings that affect the account sit behind a question only a grown-up can answer.
• Robbie and Anna are AI characters, and the app says so. A parent gives permission before the child talks with them, and can withdraw it at any time.
• Safety filters check what the child says and what the AI answers. Your child can report a reply that feels wrong.
• In “For parents” you see your child’s progress, a question to talk about at home after each level, and every conversation with Robbie, including transcripts of voice calls. You can delete them.
• You can delete the account in the app.
KidMind is a learning program, not therapy. It doesn’t diagnose anything and doesn’t replace a child psychologist.

Smoother play: comics move on by themselves, the flashlight works from the first touch, answers are brighter and tasks are clearer. Improved voices and wording in the first levels.
