Open the app and start. TAP GO, THEN SWIPE Swipe right if you know the word, left if you're not sure. You can change how many words are in each round and how many of them are new. • Each round ends with a quick check: see a word and pick the right meaning from four choices • Words you miss come back again two or three questions later • Reviews are scheduled with the FSRS spaced-repetition algorithm, so words you are about to forget come back on time YOUR TARGET SETS THE ORDER Choose 550, 650, 750, 850 or 900+, and switch at any time. The target only decides which words come first. It does not predict your score. EXAMPLE SENTENCES AND FOUR ACCENTS Every word card has an English example sentence with a translation. Audio comes in American, British, Canadian and Australian accents, with male and female voices, and each card shows a flag and a voice label so you know which one you are hearing. Playback speed: 0.75×, 1× or 1.25×. LEARN WITH YOUR PHONE ON THE DESK Open auto-play cards and words play full screen, changing every 5, 10 or 15 seconds, in portrait or landscape. Sound is off by default; you can play just the word, or the word and its example. The screen stays on while cards are playing. FOCUS ON WHAT YOU NEED • By situation: general business, hiring and personnel, finance and budgets, travel and transport, the office, purchasing, dining, health and more, 14 in total • By word type: nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs and more • Saved words and mistakes: review only the words you saved and the ones you got wrong LIBRARY: FIND ANY WORD Search by English word or meaning, and filter by words, phrases or saved words. Tap a word to see its example and hear it. WORKS OFFLINE All words, example sentences and audio are built into the app, so you can study on the train or on a plane. Your learning progress is stored on your device. SEE YOUR PROGRESS My progress shows how many words you have studied and mastered, plus your last 7 days of study. FOUR LANGUAGES Set the interface language and the definition language separately: English, 繁體中文, 日本語 or 한국어. COMFORTABLE TO USE Dark, light, or follow your system. Three text sizes. Haptic feedback and reduce motion settings. PRICE There is no charge to download the app. The first 100 words can be studied, quizzed and reviewed at no cost, and the library and cards let you browse every word.
