Cipherkin

Seal notes in playful themes

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Seal a note, share it anywhere, and watch it open in style: wax seals, spellbooks, dossiers and treasure maps. Opening any note is always free. Cipherkin turns a short note into a sealed message you can send through any app, and turns opening it into a little show. Write a note, tap Seal and watch it close up: a wax-sealed card, a spellbook bound by glowing runes, a dossier stamped top secret, or a treasure map rolled into a scroll. Share the sealed text in Messages, Mail or anywhere else. Your friend pastes it into Cipherkin and watches it open. HOW IT WORKS • Write and seal a note, then copy or share the sealed text. • The recipient taps Paste in Cipherkin to open it. • Opening every message, in every theme, is always free. FREE • Classic Cipher: a cream card that scrambles into cipher and is sealed with wax. • Free notes use a password built into the app, so anyone with Cipherkin can open them. They're for fun, not for secrets. CIPHERKIN FULL: ONE-TIME PURCHASE • Arcane Runes, Secret Agent and Pirate's Code, plus future themes as they arrive in updates. • Set your own password, so only people you tell can open your note. Give them the password separately, in person or by a call. • Preview every theme before you decide. NO ACCOUNTS, NO TRACKING • No account, no ads, no analytics, no servers. • Works offline. Sealing and opening happen on your device. • Cipherkin doesn't save your notes, passwords or history, and reads the clipboard only when you tap Paste. • Notes are sealed with AES-256-GCM, with keys derived from the password by Argon2id. Short or common passwords can be guessed by someone who has the sealed text, so use a longer one for anything that matters. ACCESSIBLE • VoiceOver, large text, Reduce Motion, and a Skip button on every animation.
