I’ve had this app for six months now, and let me tell you, I had needed this for YEARS. I cannot believe the default photo app makes it so difficult to organize photos. As someone who has way too many photos and way too many albums, it has always bothered me that you cannot search for albums when adding photos (you have to scroll) and you cannot add photos to multiple albums at once. With HashPhotos, you can though!! AND it will be added to those albums in the Photos app! I pay for the yearly subscription, but if there can be a payment for lifetime use (I apologize if there is and I didn’t notice it), I would gladly pay for that!This app is five stars, 100%! I have never used another app like this. As an artist, I like to create albums of different references to use when drawing/sketching whatever. This app seriously makes my life so much easier to organize and search for said albums of references.One feature that would be awesome to have (and this does not take away from the five-star rating) would be the ability to save queries (even if it would only allow one query to be saved). I know there’s a history button, but that only saves the last five; and sometimes if I don’t use the app for a day or so, the history clears (that could just be my phone, please let me know if so). If this is not possible, that is very understandable. This app has been incredible as it is and I wish the very best for the dev team. Fantastic app!!!

Just go to the Smart Albums section, tap New Smart Album, tap the … button, enter your search filters and album name, and save it — then you’ll always be able to open it conveniently.Search history itself does not disappear after closing the app or after some time, but if you are experiencing an issue where it seems to vanish, please let us know. We’ll also consider ways to make search history more accessible aside from Smart Albums.If you ever encounter errors or have more suggestions, you can use Settings > Send Feedback inside the app, or email us directly at support@hashphotos.app.

This app make photo management & organization on iOS and iPadOS actually usable & worked for the first time. It literally makes the default photo app on iphone from Apple looks like a joke (which it is). A must have for anyone loves to curated their photos: the tray features and the album-sort menu makes it effortless. There is an unsorted folder by default. The custom smart album features work beautifully and make up for the non-existent smart album on iOS. It works very fast & reliable) (In addition, there are even more filters in the smart album than the one on the macOS app from Apple if anyone wonders. So i dare to say this also makes the apple macos photo app also looks like a joke). There are many tiny small features but brilliant in the app that improves the QOL for the app show that the dev for this app actually care to perfect the app. It like they read my mind. A tiny feedback is that if the dev can make the sidebar on the ipad app stop auto-hiding & the ability to hide local album tabs on both platform it would have been a 12/10. 🙏🙏🙏👍👍

This app make photo management & organization on iOS and iPadOS actually usable & worked for the first time. A must have for anyone loves to curated their photos: the tray features and the album-sort menu makes it effortless. There is an unsorted folder by default. I love this app so much! it has been such a quality of life improvement after I discovered it. It makes me so happy to see this is a continuous work in progress; constantly improving as time goes on. I'd like to request a new gesture for slideshow; If you tap on the top right corner, you would give a little haptic tick and increase speed by 10% from what it's currently playing at, each time you tap. Tapping bottom right corner would slow down by 10% percent each time. And it wouldn't even need to remember what speed you last had it set at when you exit out of playing; it would just start playing at normal speed by default. Also, i think it would be super handy if you could launch slideshow for what you currently have in the tray (playing in the order that you have them queued up). It wouldn't even need to show the prompt for slideshow with the options either. It would just start playing; like a continuous source tape. And something else that i think would be simple to implement, but would be extremely helpful; When exporting, as each item is exported, add an 'exported' tag to it. This would make it extremely easy to find things that are safe to remove when you're running low on space. Plus down the road, you could even leverage that tags existence, and make it so if some of the items they're trying to export already have the tag, it could ask if they want to do a differential export (skipping the items that have tag), or a full export. Thank you for everything that you do. You have seriously improved my life ☺️

Persistent crashing issue

Long time fan of this app, consistently impressed with not only the frequent updates and feature additions, but also the overwhelming care the developers clearly have for their app and all of its users. It's truly remarkable how responsive and considerate the developers are with every single reviewer, ESPECIALLY when nearly every other developer simply uses AI and/or copy and paste bot responses to address feedback. Seriously, bravo.Now, the reason for my review is that there has been a persistent crashing issue, as I stated in my title. It first started happening 5-6 updates ago and seemingly happens at random (sometimes while scrolling pictures or videos, sometimes while watching a video, sometimes while editing a picture or video, sometimes shortly after first opening the app, sometimes after the app's been open for a while). Unfortunately due to the random nature of the bug, I haven't been able to replicate the problem, nor can I be more specific as to when the problem first started. Honestly, with every update I just assumed the problem would be fixed, which is why I waited as long as I have to leave a review addressing it. Wish I could be more helpful.Last thing, and this is a very minor issue, but I've noticed that when videos loop while playing in full screen, the center play button/icon will randomly flash (appear and quickly disappear) in between loops. Seems to happen more regularly with shorter looping videos, but does still occur with longer videos too.Anyways, keep up the great work, devs. Your app puts the stock photos app and pretty much all other gallery apps to shame.
