That text is the one whose letters are counted, so its spelling is the one the app stands by. Version 10.7. Share any page. Every article, Perspectives issue, How-to-pray lesson, recording and study room now has a Share button, and the Quran reader has one in its capsule. The link opens the page in the app when the app is installed, and on submission.ws when it is not. Get the app from a shared page and it opens on that very page. The Settings sheet now stands on the theme's own colour in Green, Blue and Red, and the Zakat ring fills the room it has.

Version 10.6. Perspectives, the newsletter from 1985 to 1990, now reads in your language. Every issue is in all of the app's languages, and the English original is one tap away. In a study room, where the last study ended is now two boxes, the sura and the verse, so the phone's number pad is all you need. The study's details stay below the clock when the keyboard is open.

Version 10.5. Studies is new. Each language is a room: its study, its people talking, and its recordings, in one place. The first time, you choose your language; after that, Studies opens on it. At the top of the room is the next study, in your own time, with who leads it. When it is on, Join is right there. Whoever leads a study can move it, start it later or cancel it just once, or add an extra one, and everyone's phone rings at the new time. The room shows each change, and the latest recording arrives in the chat. All of a language's recordings are one tap away, newest first, with search. Press and hold a message to write to the person privately. Video calls go through a server that can now be changed in a moment, so the calls work again.

Version 10.4. The Media screen is new. Search inside the recordings: type a word, read the place where it is said in a video or a study, and play it from there. Studies and videos carry the number people know them by, and you can list them by date. Songs come from The Submitters' 18 albums: shuffle them all, play them album by album, or hear each song once. The player goes on to the next recording by itself, with no gap, and keeps going with the phone locked. Folded, it looks like a cassette, a video tape or a record cover. The Calculator has a new look. The Salat screen has a new clock. It shows the whole day in one turn, with each prayer's time as wide as it is long. The middle of the clock says which prayer starts or ends, and counts down to it. There are six clock faces to choose from: press the button beside the name of your place to see all six and pick one, or choose in Settings. Press a prayer, on the clock or in the list, to open its own page: today's times for it, and how to observe it. Next to the menu button at the foot of the screen, you now see the prayer of the moment, the time it has left, and when it ends, like the Lock Screen widget. Tap it to open the Salat times. In the Quran, the reading page is calmer. The counts of a sura's initials open when you tap the Arabic of a verse, and the bar at the side of a sura can be dragged to move fast.

Version 10.3. The Quran has a new menu: turn a dial to choose a sura or an appendix, or type its number; slide to a verse and see how it begins before you open it. The menu opens on the place you last read. The Index shows one letter at a time, with a search across all of it; the Glossary can be searched by a word or its meaning; Bookmarks show each verse's text. Search inside the Quran now also looks in the Index and the Glossary, and lists what it finds part by part: verses, front matter, appendices, topics and words. The numbers of the appendices can be checked as you read: tap Verify beside a figure to see the count behind it. Long numbers are written out in full, colour by colour, and every shortened table opens in full. In a sura that opens with initials, the initials are coloured and counted beside the Arabic as you read. A new article, The Initials Add Up, walks through their counts. The Calculator has two new tabs: Inheritance, the shares from the Quran's own verses, and Zakat. A verse cited in an appendix or a footnote opens in a small window, without leaving your page. The Arabic of the Quran and of its commentary is set in one clear font. Sliding through the book now shows a clear preview of the sura you would land on, and a bar at the side shows how far down a long page you are.

Version 10.2. Tap a member's picture in a chat or a channel to see their profile, send them a message or call them; members see each other's name and photo, never an email. Study channels are redesigned: each study time shows the time where you are and who leads it next, and can go into your calendar as a weekly event with a reminder. A new theme, Olive: a warm olive page with softly faded text, made for long reading. The Yellow theme has been retired; if you used it, you now have Cream. Signing in with Apple, Google or email now greets you by name, with your photo, and says how you signed in. PDF books, the Quran editions among them, now read full screen: the bars slide away as you read and come back with a tap. Every Quran edition now gives Dr. Rashad Khalifa's name and the running counts of the word GOD in its own language. A page in the Quran reader no longer shows an edge around its last verse.

Version 10.1. A calmer first launch: choose your language, then one page asks where your prayer times are for, either your location (recommended: it updates the times as you travel) or a city you pick, which stays fixed. It shows the day's prayers and asks once whether to notify you when it's time for Salat. Nothing else is asked until you need it: a study's calls when you join one, Community's notifications once you have signed in. Your location is used only for your prayer times and the Qibla; we never store or sell it. The first time you open the Quran you choose its languages, with its first verse as a preview. The dial stays centred and never covers what you are reading. In Community, tap a member to see their profile, find your way back from a channel, and see who sent each notification; channel admins can remove messages and members. The Lock Screen widget and the watch keep up with every prayer, and an EPUB book shows one bar instead of two. The Quran's appendices now show their figures, from the Tashkent Quran to the Hadith photocopies.

Version 10. Books is now a shelf: the Quran leads at the top, the book you were reading waits beneath it, and every book shows its whole title, what it is about and the languages it comes in. Tap one to read it in your language; a book not yet on your phone downloads in place and opens by itself, and a shared link to a book now opens it too. Urdu books are set in Nastaliq, and the Urdu Quran, Hadith, and Islam opens chapter by chapter. Every theme is lit in its own colour, every button and search box has the same depth, and the media player follows your theme. Fixed: switching recordings while the player is minimised; a long random verse now scrolls inside its window with its buttons always in reach; topics scroll under the back button; the reader's buttons are no longer clipped; the Salat countdown reads as a clock; the Night ring on the watch and widgets fills between midnight and Dawn; verses shared from an iPhone link to the App Store again.

A new look for Settings and your profile, and a new Cream theme, warm as paper: themes appear as swatches, and every typeface can be seen at once beside a verse set in it. The media player is redesigned, with pictures shown whole, a full-screen button on videos, captions on the picture, and a Boost for quiet talks and studies. The navigation dial is now a pane of glass over the page. Your next prayer shows on the Lock Screen, and the Ramadan dates have a timer for the day's fast. "Go to" in the Quran lands on the verse you chose, and links in chat show a preview. Fixed: the alert at prayer time chose between the Adhan and the chime by the Alarm setting; Change password now shows for email accounts; tables in articles are readable in every theme.

Every label in the app is now in your language: the Articles shelf and the Smoke Prophecy's "Confirmed by 19" numbers were the last to be translated, and all 33 languages are complete. The navigation dial now sits evenly between the buttons around it. Recorded Studies has an Arabic list, and the English and Turkish lists are being brought up to date with the studies of the past year.

Hold a place on the dial and its centre lists the place's parts: Hajj, the Gematrical calculator, a random verse and more. Slide onto one and let go to land there. A heading above the wheel names what is under your finger, and a hand shows you the gesture the first times you open the dial. The Home carousel's words morph from slide to slide, Media thumbnails have the right shape, a recorded-studies category opens as a list, and World Practices no longer waits for ever with no places saved.

Audio and video alike. - Contact us: a message, a call or a mail to the people who make the app, from the menu. - Changing a study's time keeps its teachers and their lineup. - Ramadan's Last Ten Nights show the right moon, and the event dates read more easily. - Softer shadows throughout, a Punjabi edition in the Gurmukhi script, and better translations everywhere.
