The color change is horrible, but that’s the least of it. The fact that you have to delete all the messages you want manually is ridiculous. What’s the point of that. I thought it’s called “dust” because the messages dissapear as soon as they are read. On top of that there is many things that need to be fixed. I’m not getting half the the messages that I should be getting. This is like a completely different app. If this is how the app was when I first downloaded it I wouldn’t use it. PLEASE MAKE IT MORE LIKE IT WAS BEFORE!! I use this every day and it’s making it so much more difficult to use. All in all I hate the changes. So so disappointed!

I’ve used this app for years. And while it’s always had a pretty ugly interface and not great UI and it hasn’t kept up with modern functionality or seemed to even make an attempt at that, I did like that I trusted it and it felt secure.What seems to show an almost willful abhorrence or unfathomable negligence for users is the fact they have weirdly capped the message length at a very short amount. Worse, is that if you are doing voice dictation, it allows you to keep talking and shows the words that you’re typing and it seems like everything is fine and then it’s not until you stop talking and go to hit send that it deletes however much of your message is over and above the maximum. If you were trying to generate customer anger and rage clicks and taps and just create an overall frustrating experience, this would be one of the top ways that I could imagine. It’s enough for me to stop using the app after years of use. I would assume that it had been abandoned from a development standpoint, and perhaps Apple had made a change that they simply hadn’t kept up with, but I’m seeing an update from a month ago. I’m at a loss on this.

Glad to see this private messenger back at it. Loving the new look and where it’s heading, but would like to see a couple other features. A fingerprint/facial recognition login would be top of my list. Other than that, the user experience is great and it flows well. Security being it’s purpose, they seem to have all of that covered. Over all, love it and can’t wait to see how it evolves.

I'd say there's no reason to use this unless you want the free cryptocurrency which may rise in value if this app becomes popular. It lacks many of the features you'd come to expect, and it's buggy as hell. Other open source apps also have the same privacy protections, but none of these "privacy" texting apps can stop someone from simply video recording the conversation. Names are not displayed on the chat screen, but they are displayed elsewhere. It's easy to get a camera and use that video as proof.Privacy is only as good as the people in the conversation. If they want to release your secrets, no app can protect from that.
