From tailored AI health guidance to chats with licensed vets, pet journal, activity tracking, and smart pet devices — everything your pet needs is now in one place.
Petcube goes far beyond smart hardware. It’s a pet-first platform designed around the animal you love — not the technology you use.
Start by creating a profile for your dog or cat. Add their age, breed, habits, and health history. Complete a Health Check by answering health and care-related questions about your pet. From there, Petcube becomes a companion with personalized AI insights and around-the-clock certified vet chat to help you make better decisions for your pet and be a more confident pet parent.
With Petcube App you can:
- Get AI-powered answers about your pet’s health, behavior, food, and training;
- Chat with licensed veterinarians when you need on-the-spot medical guidance;
- Track activity, routines, health data, and daily moments in your pet’s journal;
- Get reminders, smart alerts, set up voice commands, and care schedules;
- Connect your Petcube devices for live streaming, smart alerts, emergency monitoring, and activity insights.
Your pet’s profile, photos, logs, and history help unlock more personalized advice, reminders, and care recommendations — turning the app into a digital diary for your pet.
Whether you’re checking in while you’re away, worried about a symptom, or just want to be a better pet parent, Petcube puts everything you need right at your fingertips.
This was an awesome addition. For the price and ease-EXCELLENT only issues:- The camera works well. Sounds sometimes glitches if app is running in background without closing it out. ( sound isn’t activated when doing live feed)-it doesn’t catch the ladies moving around all the time or delayed (they’ve already jumped and eating food before it acknowledges movement.-the biggest issue, alerts are nonexistent at night. No care time set and yet the alerts stop after dark. I want the woof alert in case fox gets in the pen area. It will record however I need to check the app bc the notifications are silenced. Reached out to cs, they weren’t helpful. Delete app and reinstall or check care settings are off. We have two, and neither one makes alert sound after say midnight. Since I work nights I want the alerts.-care settings are set for actual day of week vs time frame. . If I want alerts from 8pm on Tuesday through 8am Wednesday, it’s not possible. You can only set one timeframe for the day of the week. This is for 9-5 workers. CS tried and said they’d look into it. Idk

Borderline Unusable
xEmpress_
I bought 3 cameras because the app was free and they were a good price but honestly this app is borderline unusable. I am rarely if ever able to hear my pet through the camera, the video breaks apart and freezes, it takes quite a long time for the app to launch despite me having the newest iPhone and software update. Two of the camera just always show as low WiFi despite literally being in the same room as the modem and router since I live in a studio apartment. Repeated attempts to fix the issues with their support team have failed and when I need to make sure my dog is okay the most, I cannot and that makes me very worried. Doesn’t matter how many bars I have on my phone or the fact that I have fiber internet, it simply is the app. Unless you are on the same WiFi network as the cameras when using the app, it’s absolute and utter garbage with no indication it’s getting any better and you shouldn’t waste your money. I wonder if paying for the upgraded service would help but I should not have to do that. If the product is marketed as a free app, it should at the very least be functional and the actual benefits of the paid subscription needs to be made clear; Feels shady and scummy. I’m going to try a different, subscription based camera service because I feel that pay model would be better in terms of app support, updates, and maintenance. And I feel like that model is more upfront than the “buy our free version” buts it’s so unusable that it funnels people into the paid version.

Love it, but some problems over the years

I’ve had PetCube Bites since 2019. Install was difficult and there’s a learning curve, but I have had some great experiences with it over the years. Mirroring my iPhone to my classroom apple tv and allowing students to shoot treats out to my pup is a fav memory!My dog is now nearly 19 and it is essential for monitoring him during the day. The app is not perfect, but I’m sure none of the others out there are either. I pay for the annual care 10 day plan. Wish there were no ads. This is a newer thing. A paid subscription, especially the top tier, should not have triggering ads IMHO.I recently had to contact support bc (I’m guessing a recent update) caused the awake/sleep toggle buttons under the livestream to disappear! I was so confused:/ Had to reinstall app, restart phone etc. Didn’t work. Contacted chat support again and this time looked under settings and I can only change to awake/sleep in this area. Bummed bc the toggles were convenient! Maybe a change for the next update please?:)If you are having problems, reach out to chat. They are helpful!

I’ve had my petcam for a few years and it’s worked out pretty well. I sometimes work long shifts and it’s nice to be able to check on my cat while I’m at work. I like that it records videos for me to watch later if needed. I only have a few issues. 1. I travel for work a lot and when I get to a new location, setting up the camera again can be a little difficult. If it’s disconnected for any long periods, I have to set it up as a brand new camera. It even reset the camera icon I had set up. 2. It seems that a recent update has removed the buttons to turn motion recording on/off have been removed from underneath the live feed. Now, they’re buried deep in the settings and it’s more difficult to turn recording on and off. If the toggle was put back under the live feed window, I’d be happy.

Hi, there is a faster way to change the Care setting. On the home page, on the device's card, you can see a little (cloud) icon at the upper right. tap on it and you can then set Care to awake/sleep at the bottom. You can also contact us at support@petcube.com.
We sniffed and tracked down several nasty bugs! Now that they are gone, your video stream got a bit better. Call your furkid often - a drop of pawesomeness every day makes the troubles go away
