I use Ayoa mind maps for my class notes/study outlines for law school. As a visual learner, having one super long text document to study and understand law wasn’t working for me, so I started looking for something that would suit me better. Mind maps seemed like a good idea for me, but I didn’t have the time to draw out mind maps by hand during lectures. Ayoa has helped me quickly capture the key points and topics in my law courses while showing how each element connects to the bigger picture. This has really helped me to understand and memorize the law, and definitely played a role in my grades. I highly recommend Ayoa mind maps to anyone looking to record, memorize, explain, or process complex information in an easy to use and visually digestible manner.
WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY FOR IPad
KiboGato
So I bought this with the intention of using it to give presentations. I develop mindmaps on the Mac and use iPad to present. After trying it on the Mac I like the features and made the purchase, assuming that the iPad version would be similarly feature rich. How wrong I was, the iPad version was so clunky and features so minimal compared to Mac I asked for refund. I was told by customer support: 1. “The Ayoa mobile app is currently the light version” and “at the moment we have focused more on the web/desktop apps”. Would have been nice to know, perhaps a warning Reminder pops up and says it. 2. I was also told that they don’t give refunds. Which they do tell you upfront, however since the two apps are so drastically different, I don’t feel like I received what I paid for. I feel defrauded. Since it was within 7 days and I purchased a multi-year subscription I thought they would provide good customer service and do the right thing. Apparently they are interested in neither. Wouldn’t waste my time and especially money.

Update Forces Users to Archive Tasks
J20ozes
I have used this app for years, and I liked it enough to pay for the subscription to implement it for my entire department.Yesterday, I would have given this 5 stars. Unfortunately, they released a new version this morning that now requires me to archive completed tasks in order to remove them from calendar or urgency-list view. There used to be an option that let you select when to show/hide completed tasks, but that’s now gone. There is also no option to automatically archive completed tasks, or to mass-archive.Per customer support, this is supposed to be an improvement based on user feedback. Either they didn’t get quality feedback from heavy users or they are trying to claim a bug is a new feature, but now everyone in my department gets to waste time archiving a lot of completed tasks from the last 7 days - ONE TASK AT A TIME.Please return the ability to hide tasks or auto-archive, because this is annoying enough to have me looking at other apps.
We've made some fixes and improvements to help you work better and make you more productive than ever.
