GS-911wifi is an app for BMW motorcycles. It requires a HEX GS-911wifi diagnostic interface.
What Does the App Do?
The GS-911wifi app makes it easy to get started with your GS-911wifi device. Set up, register, and connect to your GS-911wifi directly from your mobile device - no laptop or extra software needed. Once connected, you can access the full range of GS-911 diagnostic features through the app. Emergency functionality (ECU Info, read & clear fault codes, monitor real-time data) is available offline, while service functions require an internet connection.
What Does a HEX GS-911wifi Diagnostic Interface Do?
It is a Diagnostic Tool for BMW motorcycles. The GS-911wifi has USB and wifi connectivity, allowing you to “browse” your BMW motorcycle's Electronic Control Units (ECU). It connects to a BMW motorcycle's diagnostic connector allowing you dealer level diagnostic functionality. This functionality is dependent on model and complexity but includes:
* Reading of ECU information (Software versions, part numbers etc.)
* Reading and Clearing of Fault Codes for every ECU
* Reading of LIVE sensor input/output data
* Resetting of Service reminders
* Functional output tests
* Advanced diagnostic functions (ECU specific, but include calibrations, adaptation resets, ABS bleed tests, etc.)
The GS-911wifi is compatible with all BMW motorcycles that have the round 10pin diagnostic connector, including the new generation chassis such as the K1600GT/GTL and R1200GS LC wethead. It is also backward compatible to the previous generation of BMW motorcycles, including the Husquvarna range of Nuda 900 and Nuda 900 R motorcycles that were developed in the time that BMW Motorrad owned Husqvarna motorcycles.

I have been using my GS-911 WiFi across two different RT’s and it works quite well. Connecting to my network is a challenge once and awhile, but once connected I am more than able to reset service settings, etc.If you own a BMW motorcycle I would suggest getting one, either that or enjoy overpaying for service work at a dealer.
Can’t do any of the cool service functions. Not compatible with iPhone 11

Customer service wants me to bring my motorcycle into my house and connect the device to a computer and the bike at the same time in order to do anything. I use an iPhone 11 and it cannot connect to the WiFi network I can create. $400 turdsandwich in my hands, and since I have to register my vin with it, I can’t sell it for what I bought it for. Was able to read and clear the codes, but not the service light. Cannot actuate the abs for a brake fluid change. Cannot access any of the “special” service functions that were the entire reason i purchased this device. 0/10. I would not purchase again. I could do all the functions available to me with a normal obd2 reader and a round to flat adapter. I purchased this because of the special functions that do not work and a refund is unavailable because the devices need to be registered to each person. Customer service has not been helpful to resolve these issues.

I don’t ever write reviews but I am so impressed by how plug and play this is that I felt compelled. Was having this weird check engine light on my r ninet and this thing diagnosed it perfectly. This thing is expensive but it pays for itself in just one missed trip to the dealership 10/10

Know that there is a known issue with this device and iOS devices not being able to detect Motronic 2.4 and ABS systems used in the early 2000s. Many functions missing unless connected to a PC via USB cable, so…why tout it as a WiFi device? This has the look/feel of an unfinished piece of work on the iOS side, but works very well when tied to a PC via USB.Save your money, buy the latest version of the non-WiFi device!
