New functionality included to provide information on air quality data from NO2 diffusion tube networks from Local Authorities. Two new sections added: - “Diffusion tube sites” provides a map with NO2 levels. By default, it will show all sites for the latest year with data. The user can then select a particular year and/or Local Authority. - “About diffusion tubes” provides information about the measurement methodology, the presented maps and the data source. - Performance improvements

What’s new : •AQMA Summary •AQMA Map •Notifications •Notification setting AQMA summary Providing information on which Local authorities across Scotland that have declared active Air Quality Management Areas. A description of the AQMA is provided, along with the size (km2), status and the pollutants the AQMA has been declared for. AQMA Map View map of active Air Quality Management Areas across Scotland. Notifications Alert notification service - when an automatic air quality monitoring site within the Scottish Air Quality Database becomes elevated (Moderate or above) in a Local Authority of interest, a notification alert will appear on your mobile device. The notification will provide information on the location and pollutant of concern. Know and Respond – a service providing you with alerts when air pollution is forecast to be Moderate or above. The service provides a notification on your mobile device when the air pollution forecast is moderate or above for your local authority areas of interest. The notification will also provide you with some brief advice on what to do with regards to health. AQMA proximity notification – the AQMA proximity notification service uses GPS data from your smartphone to provide notification alerts when you are entering an AQMA. The notification will provide you with useful information such as a description of the area the AQMA comprises and what pollutants the AQMA is declared for. You can use the latest levels option on the App to find out the nearest monitoring locations and latest levels. Notification settings – you can select the type of notifications you wish to receive and the selected areas you wish to receive the notifications.
