This used to be the best way to send money to friends and family in the Philippines until they trying steal your identity they will lock your account or you’re no longer to send money and then you’ll get a email a month later stating they want your bank statements your Social Security numbers, your marriage license on proof of your relationships to your friends and family in the Philippines and they wanna know where your money is coming from so they also want your records of your employment records of your banks and they want to know where all your money is coming from and even when you do that, they will not unlock your account because you’re using your information is still your identity. Once they unlock your account you send money to your family and loved ones in the Philippines or whatever country they will take 24-72 hrs to send money for cash pickup gcash they will just cancel your transaction no matter how many times in the past you sent money. Sendwave was way better before they sold Sendwave to world remit

UPDATED: Since the original review, the developer responded. Additionally, the service eventually worked after I contacted a live person for the third time and was offered an opportunity to appeal the repeated transaction cancellations. That was the first time that option was presented. In fact, I had previously been told there was no appeal possible. Well, it worked almost immediately. So, I’m upgrading the review to 2.5 stars for their response to my review and for the one person who was actually helpful. Original Review: This service worked for the first transfer of money to a friend in another country. The second transfer, however, was canceled as being “suspicious.” It said to try again. I did. Same result. I contacted the AI chat and voice line. It said that it should go through since the transfer was to an established contact. I did it again. Now my account with Sendwave is suspended while they “review” it. There’s no other explanation. The two online human representatives I chatted with were not helpful and provided no insight on why it was suspended or how long this would take to resolve. I am trying to help someone in a time sensitive situation, and this company has some arbitrary rules that are preventing that, and when I ask about what those rules are that are supposedly being violated, they will not tell me “for security reasons.” I cannot recommend this service to anyone.

Dear, who this may concern You open a account you put your ID your phone number all your address information and they go over your account they send you text messages you call them back and reread one response. I got a re-OK to resend it then I sent another smaller amount with the same card and then they tell me to call them again then they decide to close the account and then they ask you to call them. You can’t call them because they closed your account. There’s no way I’m making any contact with it. on this app so send wave. I’m very happy this app does not compare to Money Gram at all when it comes to getting a refund or anything they charge you pretty much more than half the amount to give you back. I haven’t even got that and I had someone add a card to my account and I’m pretty sure that’s what made them close the account but in the meantime, they block my number four I can’t make contact with them. This is where I read the app really bad. It does not compare to Money Gram. Money Gram services is a much better service and has been in business. Much better time. They take the phone calls from over the phone to send money. They take it through the app as well and you could do any corrections on the phone or the app on MoneyGram and you can use the landline not just a cell phone this app completely blocks you from making a call to resolve your problem. I will never recommend this app to nobody.

Worst money transfer service ever!!!

I’m writing this in rage. When I first attempted to make my first transfer, I was immediately stopped and told that I must call this number because my account is under review. During that first call, I was told that I must produce evidence that I know the person that I’m sending money to. Like why on earth would I send money to someone I don’t know. But okay, I produced my evidence. The evidence that they requested. He then asked if I have a visa to the country that I’m sending money to, I then replied with yes. Then he asked if I have visited this country, then I replied by say saying why would I get a visa to a country that I don’t plan on visiting. By the way, during the call, the representative was speaking in a very condescending way. Very rude. Fast forward. I send a test transfer to my relative and it’s successful. So then I decided to send the remaining amount and the amount has been siting for 24 hours still processing, no email updates. So I decided to call support the operator then said I have to wait about 800 seconds for the next rep. I get on the phone with the next rep, they stated that the payment is delayed and I informed her that I haven’t received any updates via email on the status of my transfer and I would like to cancel my transaction. She then states that she will have to escalate my issue and it will take an additional 24 hours for someone to cancel my transaction. No would you look at that! Please do you and me. Favor and use bother platform!!!!
