I sent money overseas notice that the recipient names were wrong and I call customer service and explain the situation and she told me that she can't change the name for me but that she can cancel the transaction for me and when I receive the refund for me to resend again with the right name she was very nice customer service and also she told me that I can see the refund on my bank account within 3days depending on my bank I wait 5 days and I didn't see the refund I call my bank to see why they are not crediting my account when the MoneyGram had process the refund 5 days ago, they told me that there's no refund there and that the MoneyGram told me that it depends on them to see money on my account fast or in 3 business days, she decided to file a claim and I let her know clearly that MoneyGram jut refund the transaction and that nothing about fraud there very well done That the problem is with the bank now to issue a credit to my account, she files a claim, and the same day I receive the email from MoneyGram saying that my account is suspended because they suspect fraud on my profile I call customer service and she found out that I can't use their service anymore, and to find another company to send money with, they also closed my wife's profile, what company is this very disappointed but no problem ⚠️ MoneyGram did pay me to send money I pay them and they provide with service nothing to be sorry here I'm happy to find another company lots of people is complaining about the their service

Tried to open an account and send money with application, after going through the steps and everything, clicked the send button and Moneygram send me an email saying that Moneygram is unable to proceed with my transfer and after careful review they declined my transaction and closed my profile.I reached out to chat support they texted to me saying that they cannot tell me the reason why my profile is closed with them and they cannot tell the reason why this happened because of their security. It is very pointless if you cannot know the reason why its blocked!! Which means they really do not CARE about your issue. I texted back to chat support that I will leave review about it his reply was OK “go on nothing is going to change anyway.”I went through some of the reviews which customers left and there no reply back from the Moneygram representative, which again double assures that they really do not care about customer problems (your problem you deal with it).Please be careful when using this app!! Or avoid using their service as long as you do not want to have headaches.

I’ve been standing the abuse, slowness, and poor customer service of MoneyGram for a couple of years now only because they have great exchange rates. But what good is a high exchange rate when the money doesn’t even get there and you have to wait for weeks or months to get a refund. The customer service reps, although they’re nice, are pretty clueless about what’s going on and they will never ever transfer you to a supervisor (as if that would do any good anyhow). After a few transfers that were supposed to be deposited directly to the receiver’s account, MoneyGram started flagging my transactions but even after a “verification application” the funds were never released. I was well under the monthly limit and the rep proceeded to blame the receiving bank. I spoke with the top a manager at the receiving bank and he says they have nothing to do with compliance or processing payments, they simply pay out if MoneyGram allows them to. So, MoneyGram, why lie about it and blame someone else? Also, they never notify you that something’s wrong with the transaction, you simply have to “guess” because the funds never show up. No emails, phone calls, texts...nothing. And all the while the status shows as “funds available”. Honestly, just go with Xoom even though they have a bad exchange rate but I assure you that the money will get there in minutes. MoneyGram is currently holding my money hostage for up to 90 days without an explanation. Sounds illegal doesn’t it?

Updated:After a lot of problems one of the transaction was successful after I called them over and over but the next one transaction was failed twice! And the customer representative named Paul ask me a private question about me and the transaction that I think is inappropriate! Like what the reason I want to send money for and what do I wanna buy for my sister gift! And I told him it’s bothering me and he said that’s their rules! Wth I never ever know a stupid application like this! I called them to closed my account on moneygram app because there’s no option to delete the account on the application! Do not waste your time to download this application and waste your data!At the first time I created my account, I got the email said that my account is have a problem. And I called the number they gave me. I called them and everything went good! And I can login and send the money and after that everything goes weird. The next day I can’t login into my moneygram account said my password is incorrect (I used the same password and never changed it at all!) And I tried to reach the live support and 3 of them told me I have to wait for 24 hours to login to my account! And I asked why? They can’t answer me properly and said it’s their rules? And I called them and they said it’s their rules. Like what?? After I send the money and put my bank account number and everything I can’t login and have to wait for 24 hours?? Are you for real! This is a joke! I will updated this after 24 hours and I will let you guys know whether they are a fraud or not! Smh!!
