This is the kind of game I like. Simple, retro, and NO energy or pay-to-play nonsense. No ads, no b.s. It is a little slow to start, but picks up significantly once you start adding heroes. Nine quickly replaced a handful of games I was into.Just a couple things I might like to see. Some kind of numbering when fighting a group of monsters, especially those who are the same or similar, would be handy. I would target the baddie that would attack first. Also, it would be cool if there were some tap n' hold system within battles, to see hero/enemy and skill info. Mere suggestions....Awesome job, devs. Thank you!

I got this game about a day ago and I love the concept of it but when you gain experience points they are very small and you could be on for another day trying to upgrade so if you can fix this I'll give it a 5 star.

The game is simple in its concept but it's addictive and funny

It's not the worst RPG ever, but the battle system is way too simple and has no depth whatsoever. It consists of waiting for someone's turn to take an action and repeat until the enemy is defeated. It would be better if you just skipped to the next person's turn instead of having to waste your time to wait for it. Active-time battle systems worked in games like the Final Fantasy series because enemies could act while you were making your decision, and faking this system like in this game creates a lack of urgency. I'll let the graphics slide by because they aren't horrible, but not especially charming either. It is easily exploitable (chests reset upon entering an area) and enemy AI is pretty much the same the whole time. It's probably the closest thing to a JRPG that will be free on the app store forever.
