ReadMe! has helped readers find their pace and place since 2014. v2 is the biggest ReadMe! update yet: a rebuilt reader, a calmer library, and four focused ways to move through a book. FOUR WAYS TO READ • Spritz presents one word at a time around a fixed red focal letter, with precise speed control. • BeeLine guides your eyes through each rendered line with continuous color gradients. • Focus builds a readable trail of recent words so attention can settle without losing context. • Read Along carries the text through a smooth, centered ticker. A FULLY UNLOCKED SAMPLE Open the built-in sample and try every reading mode, control, and setting for as long as you like. No account or subscription is required. YOUR BOOKS STAY READABLE Import supported books and documents, keep them in your local library, and read them normally for free. Each imported book includes 3 active minutes to try ReadMe!'s focused reading modes. The timer runs only while a Premium mode is actively playing. When the preview ends, your book stays open at the same place and remains readable normally. PREMIUM, WITHOUT LOCKING YOUR LIBRARY Premium unlocks unlimited Spritz, BeeLine, Focus, and Read Along use with your imported books. It does not take away normal reading, imports, bookmarks, or your local library. LIFETIME STILL MEANS LIFETIME Existing Lifetime Premium buyers retain full access to all current and future Premium features. Restore through Settings or the Preview complete screen. If automatic restoration cannot find your purchase, ReadMe! support will help. SYNC WHEN YOU CHOOSE An account is optional. Sign in with Apple, Facebook, or email when you want cloud library sync. On-device v1 books migrate locally with bookmarks and reading position, and the new sync system stores exact reading anchors instead of an approximate percentage alone. Subscriptions are available monthly and yearly. ReadMe! shows the exact localized price and duration before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. Manage or cancel in Apple Account subscription settings. Privacy Policy: https://v2.readmei.com/privacy.php Terms of Use: https://v2.readmei.com/terms.php Support: https://v2.readmei.com/support.php

Extremely promising but falls short

Speed reading via Spritz works... Well for most people. First let me talk about Spritz itself: I had no problem comprehending all the words Spritz spat at me but my girlfriend did. I did notice that books with a lot of dialog was difficult comprehend who was saying what... But straightforward non fiction books it was easily read and absorbed. The real problem lies in the fact that Spritz forces developers to upload text to them instead of actually processing Spritz text in the app. This means no Spritz reading offline or in areas where you have spotty connections. Additionally, Spritz itself seems to have a hard time processing and keeping up with the workload as new apps are reaching the marketplace. As a result, you may get frequent Spritz timeouts while the app is attempting to upload your text to Spritz. As for the ReadMe app itself... It's not bad but not great. Still buggy. Books seems to disappear at times or show no titles or text at all. But ultimately it works (mostly). It's a pretty app and has a lot of promise. If you want to be the trailblazer for Spritz reading then this is the app for you.

read all those classics you’ve always meant to read

This app is fantastic. I was already a very fast/avid reader, but still, there were classics I’d put off. This app has made it possible for me to increase my reading speed as well as finish off a few of those books on my list. I find my comprehension is higher at this pace with this app than when I “skitter” or photoread. My nine-year-old goddaughter loves the app, too, and always asks to play with it on my phone. We read quite a bit of Little Women together that way. It would be amazing if this were integrated with more formats, but it’s not that hard to find books. It’s also extremely good for the purposes of writing: I load my rough drafts up as PDFs and read them, which keeps me from editing while reading, and allows me to quickly get the sense of a whole.

Spritz is spiffy!

This app is an excellent one for reading, though I've only used it for Project Gutenberg books. The best thing the app has is the Spritz speed reading technology built right in. I am a voracious reader, and while most books I want to take my time with, I have a huge list of titles I've been meaning to read - some rather large and a bit daunting (especially as I have developed attention problems due to medical issues). I've taken a few speed reading courses in my life, and read several books on various techniques, to no avail. With Spritz, within literally five minutes, I was reading 350 words per minute! I usually keep it at 300 wpm (the app lets you easily get to and change the Spritz settings), and have gotten a few titles off that "must read someday" list - with excellent retention, and far less eye strain (you must go to Spritz's website to see how it works, it is genius, and REALLY WORKS!). The new update expands what you can read with Spritz, so I am delighted. Well worth the subscription to use it offline, if you read a lot. I've got Burton's full translation of Thousand and One Nights, and an unabridged copy of the Hindu epic the Mahabharata (something like 15 times longer than the Iliad & Odyssey combined) - I'm going to go zip through them using this great app and Spritz right now... 🤓📖📚PS Apple - please add Spritz capability to iBooks, for the betterment of humanity! I'd still use this app as well, though.
