I first downloaded this game about four years ago, it has been one of the main ways I take some time off for a bit in the evenings. Sometimes the Special Events are very stressful but at least you’d end up with a cool car at the end. I’m a level 17vip that has spent a not insignificant amount of money in the game and played daily, sometimes even hourly, and today I say farewell. I can tell that I no longer fit the demographics that they are seeking. Out with the old and in with the new. I loved the gritty look of the street racing underground, the map with clearly located sites, and most of all the feeling of being at home with the game, the ridiculous characters and the awesome cars. But now that it has moved on to the younger generation, ironically enough by (badly) ripping off our late 90’s aesthetic, it’s time for me to move on. I tried playing games that it now mimics, namely the Asphalt series and I just did not like them, couldn’t get involved and absolutely hated the UI. And so EA/FM moves towards that look and feel and I move on. I’m only left with CSR2 for now, at least until they ditch the “old” look for a “new” one. I know the designers and programmers for this game have spent a lot of time constructing this new look, and I’m sure it hurts to hear how much we hate it, and that’s why I say it’s just not for me anymore. If this is the look and feel you want, then have it, and own it, and keep chasing those dolla bills. It’s been emotional, it’s been a friend, and it’s been entertaining. I hope the best for the future of your game. Farewell.
