Automated Bookkeeping

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Drop your documents. Close your year. Hand your accountant finished books. Invoice Manager Mini has evolved into CubeBooks - the only automated bookkeeping app on the App Store. Same app, same account, same invoices. Everything you built is still here. What is new is that the app now does the bookkeeping for you, and it runs everywhere you work: iPhone, iPad and the web, on one account that stays in sync. Most accounting apps are a form. You open one, you type, you categorise, and the books are only as current as the last evening you gave up to them. CubeBooks works the other way round. You tell it what happened, or you hand it the paperwork, and it writes the entries. SPEAK IT, IT BOOKS IT Say "paid Rona four eighty-two for shop supplies on the Visa." CubeBooks writes the double entry, codes the account, and shows you the result before anything posts. Vendor, amount, account, card, date. Every field editable, one tap to approve. Four seconds, standing at a counter, receipt still in your hand. DROP EVERYTHING, IT SORTS IT Photograph a receipt. Forward a bill. Drop a folder of statements you never opened. CubeBooks reads them, matches them against what is already in the books, and files them. It does not need them named, sorted or in order. That was the point. IT MAKES THE CALLS CubeBooks phones customers about invoices that are past due, and answers the phone when they call back. You see who was called, what was promised, and what actually arrived. Chasing money is the job every owner hates and the one that decides whether the month works. IT TELLS YOU BEFORE THE CASH RUNS OUT Most apps show you a balance. A balance is a number from this morning. CubeBooks shows you the run: what is scheduled to leave, what is expected to arrive, and the day the two do not meet. "Short $5,050 on 26 September. That is payroll day. Acme owes $5,000 on an invoice already 78 days late. Collecting it covers the gap." Then it offers to make that call. NOTHING POSTS WITHOUT YOU Anything the app is less than ninety per cent sure about is held, not guessed. Held items sit in one queue with the reason attached: no match, possible duplicate, blurred total. You approve, correct or reject. The books are yours, and every entry says where it came from: voice, scan, bank, invoice or typed by hand. ONE ACCOUNT, EVERY DEVICE Start an invoice on the phone, finish it on the laptop. Scan a receipt in a parking lot and see it on the desktop before you get home. Phone, tablet and web share one set of books, one dashboard you arrange once, and it keeps working when the signal does not. ALSO IN THE APP - Invoices, estimates and recurring invoices - Bills, expenses, vendors and recurring bills - Payments, POS terminal, products and services - Bank feeds, matching and reconciliation - Chart of accounts, journal entries and period close - Sales tax tracking and filing preparation - Payroll, employees and contractors - Projects, time tracking and mileage - Inventory and stock - Profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, ratios, forecasts and valuation - Multi-company support, switch in one tap - Works offline, syncs when you are back - English and French TERMS OF USE: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Invoice Manager Mini is now CubeBooks. This is the big one. The app you have been invoicing with is now a full accounting system, and it runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac on the web on the same account. Your invoices, customers, history and settings came across untouched. Nothing you already use has moved or changed. Everything below is new on top of it. SPEAK AN ENTRY Say what happened and the app writes the double entry. "Paid Rona four eighty-two for shop supplies on the Visa." Vendor, amount, account, card and date come back filled in, every field editable, and nothing posts until you approve it. The mic sits in the middle of the tab bar, so it opens over whatever screen you are on. DROP THE PAPERWORK Photograph a receipt, forward a bill, or drop a folder of bank statements in any order. The app reads them, matches them to what is already booked, and files them. No renaming, no sorting. THE APP MAKES THE CALLS CubeBooks now phones customers about overdue invoices and answers the phone when they call back. You see who was called, what was promised and what actually landed. A CASH RUN, NOT JUST A BALANCE The new Money screen shows what is scheduled to leave, what is expected to arrive, and the day the two do not meet. It names the shortfall before it happens and tells you which invoice would cover it. Expected dates use each customer's real payment history, and the app shows its working. NOTHING GETS GUESSED Anything below ninety per cent confidence is held rather than posted, with the reason attached. One queue, on the home screen, with the count on it. A REBUILT DASHBOARD Six cards, and you choose which six. Cash, what you are owed, what you owe, the month's profit and loss, your accounts against the bank, and the review queue. Swap any of them for a chart, a payroll tile, sales tax or whatever your business actually needs. Choose once and every device shows the same six. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE - Full double-entry accounting: chart of accounts, journal entries, period close - Bank feeds, matching and reconciliation, with the gap between bank and books always visible - Bills, expenses, vendors and recurring bills - Payroll, employees and contractors - Sales tax tracking and filing preparation - Projects, time tracking, mileage and inventory - Reports: profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, ratios, forecasts, valuation - Multi-company support - Offline support, syncs when you are back on signal - Dark mode across every screen - English and French FIXED - Percentages no longer read "+100%" when there is no prior period to compare against. Where there is no baseline, the app now says so. - Cash balance no longer shows a change of "0.0%". It shows weeks of runway instead. - Expense breakdown renders properly, and reads as a ranked list rather than a colour wheel. - The health score no longer clips the one rating that is low. - Duplicate journal entries collapse into one row instead of repeating. - A crash when opening the side menu. Thank you for using Invoice Manager Simple. This is the version we wanted to build from the start.
