more The program itself seems to be written for a windows engineer. It’s practical use in the flight environment is extremely poor and clunky. This program was forced on us at work I believe will be a contributing cause in future accident or incident. It’s lack of support for ADSB data and no VFR charts take away from situational awareness. If you change runways for departure or arrival, you must also go back and change the SID or STAR. Swapping between the airport, moving map and the ground charts at any of the big airports is horrible.I believe anyone would be better off to use NOAA charts this program.

After years of looking at the bright white but dimmed screen in my face at 3am, I’m leaving this in the hope that me begging you to create a proper dark mode for iOS will actually happen. I understand Apple doesn’t make it easy, but for those of us up at all hours of the night could you please please made this improvement!

Update progress is the worst i have ever seen so far. It locks the app and does not allow you to work on charts.And yet, it keeps failing and locking that you need to rollback at least 4 or 5 times to get everything settled. Needs a serious version update. It takes a lot of time and effort to keep that charts updated and useful.

- arming calls affecting Apple Location Service - unexpected arming calls, triggering the opening of the AMM module, caused by reconnection of Apple Location Services during line-up for take-off have been fixed.
- performance of the terminal module - the time required to render terminal charts has been improved, resulting in more efficient behavior of the application.
- "Save" for an already saved flight after adding the chart to the clipboard - adding a new chart to the clipboard to an already saved flight plan allows saving this altered flight plan as a new flight plan.
- overall stability of the application - multiple scenarios which resulted in unexpected termination of the application have been fixed.
For more information about the new features of Lido mPilot 6.1, please refer to the release notes of LidomPilot 6.1.

5.2.3 05/25/2021
----- New user interface design -----
Lido mPilot features a new color scheme.
----- Dark mode -----
You are now able to use our application in dark mode.
----- In-App Appearance settings -----
The "Appearance" allows the user to activate a different mode of Lido mPilot - Light / Dark mode. When the "automatic" mode is disabled - a new button for controlling build-in Light/ Dark mode appears on the top.
----- Dark mode inversion of documents and messages -----
Company documents will be processed when the device is set to Dark mode. Note, that any dark (e.g. black/grey) elements in Company documents will be converted to light (e.g. white/light grey). This might result in too bright colors, potentially disturbing the pilot's eye during low-light operations. We advise checking all Company documents in Dark Mode before operations to prevent any undesired visual outcomes.
Due to the possibility of using non-standard styling for the HTML messages, some of the displayed messages may be in the wrong colors.
Recommendation:
Since all company documents and messages are the responsibility of airlines, we advise opening all new company documents before night operations to identify the impact of the original color inversions.
It is advised to provide HTML messages without additional inline styling, so that dark filters of Lido mPilot for web view can invert it with proper color coding.
----- View modes -----
There are three different view modes available in the application for enroute and Lido AMM:
* North-up
* Track-up (only available when OSS enabled)
* Off-center (only available when OSS enabled)
----- New Directional Own-ship symbol -----
New directional OSS available in AMM and Enroute, slightly different in light and dark conditions for the best user experience. The tip of the triangle represents the rotation point of the symbol and can be adjusted with the offset in between the GPS antenna and nose of the plane.
----- Weather availability - optional feature (contact LIDO customer support for more details) -----
Lido mPilot offers a selection of different weather phenomena to be displayed on the enroute map, in the form of polygons. At the moment, the following layers can be displayed:
* Cloud Top Height
* Convection Severity
* SIGMET
* Volcanic Ash Advisory
* Tropical Cyclone Advisory
----- Depiction of terrain on enroute map -----
"Enroute map" features terrain information. Terrain legend is depicted as a layer in the navigational layer filter.
----- De-cluttering in Lido AMM and on enroute map -----
In instances when the enroute map is cluttered by pilot annotations (pins, range circles, etc.), the situation can be solved in one click by using the de-cluttering button on the right side.
Tapping on this button in the enroute map results in:
* Pin annotation(s) being hidden
* Range circle(s) being hidden
* OSS circle being hidden
Tapping on this button in the Lido AMM results in:
* Pin annotation(s) being hidden
* Line annotation(s) being hidden
* Frequency box being hidden if displayed
* ALL taxiway labels and parking stands available on the display
----- Range circles improvements -----
The new version of Lido mPilot comes with an improved workflow for adding range circles.
----- Annotations improvement -----
For enroute: Annotations can be added via a long tap on the enroute module or via the search enroute feature
Annotations improvement for Lido AMM: Annotations can be added via a long tap on the Lido AMM
----- Introduction module -----
From now on, the main new features of a new version are introduced during the first app session via the introduction module. The introduction module is also available in the "About" section together with the release notes.
----- Improvements in the Reset functionality -----
New Hard reset function deletes all device data and cannot be undone. New data would need to be downloaded again.
