We have a Pro100 and the app experience is not yet at the level of what the roaster offers.Here is what our team would love to see:- The ability to zoom in on the graph. At times and for no explainable reasons the graph is condenced all the way to the left.- Remove the ability to scroll to the right of the graph where there are no data.- The ability to add weight and coffee names while roasting. There is a lot of down time and only having the ability to do that when roast is done is adding a step in a place where there are already other steps to do (switching coffees etc..)- Also the ability to take notes as the roast happens would be fantastic. I have to take them on paper and then port them into the roast log.- When using CC and FC it would be nice to have live data on % of Drying, Millard (just like DTR) on the screen. Potentially even on the graph to!- Add values on the fan speed, to know if we’re 100% or 50% would be also really helpful.- Larger buttons on larger screens.That’s all that comes in mind, which would greatly improve the experience!Thank you!

I’m currently using this sample roaster to help refine my production process on a larger roaster. I was hoping that the app would be user friendly and intuitive but it seems that the companion app is seriously lacking in functionality and usability.It does a great job of seeing real time data whenever I’m roasting but for whatever reason it “loses” that data once I complete the roast. When I refer to the roast log, the values are empty and I can’t even manually add the numbers into the log. What’s worse is that it doesn’t show me the number on the chart itself. I usually just end up just jotting the values and screenshotting it as I go along.Overall, the app is really lacking but the roaster itself is solid. I just wish the app was a little more user friendly. I honestly found it more of an inconvenience rather than useful.

Considering the good build quality of the roasting unit itself, the companion app (which is basically mandatory) is seriously lacking and underdeveloped. Setting that should be saved (eg temperature unit preferences) constantly need to be refreshed every time you open the app. The profiles and user guidance is basically just an external link taking you to their desktop site, making for an extremely clunky / amateur experience that doesn’t align with the high pricing of the unit. Considering that a major selling point is the creation and modification of roast profiles, the app also does a pretty poor job guiding users through the different presets as well as making changes. Lastly, reviewing prior roasts is far more difficult than needed. There’s no option to quickly rename past roasts, and info can only be gained by clicking into each separate roast. When dealing with multiple sample roasts, this makes it so tedious since users can’t have to individually click into each link, or have the sample IDs on hand. It’s clear that this app (with the low rating on the App Store) is in dire need of a revamp, since it’s seriously hurting the user experience and is the sole reason this purchase has been feeling like a mistake on my end

May just be our unit not the app but this P100 roaster is unreliable. The Bluetooth disconnects about every 30sec making it impossible to log your roast. Unimpressed for $5k spend.
