WOO is an app for kiteboarders and wingers. Join the tribe and become part of the largest kite and wing community! Record GPS sessions with your phone or Apple Watch, and/or clip on a WOO, and play the games you love not on the couch, but in the great outdoors, being active. Available games include Big Air, where riders battle for highest jump, Freestyle, where landing freestyle tricks with a low kite ups your score, and Freeride (100% free!), where riders can post GPS session. The Apple Watch App also incudes Jump Height estimations, measured straight from your wrist with your favorite Apple Watch. This feature is also 100% free.
The WOO Sports App is available for iPhone 6S and higher, running iOS 14 and higher. You can record and post a Freeride GPS session with your Apple Watch, with no WOO sensor or PRO subscription needed - it is 100% free! To post a Big Air, Big Air Analytics or Freestyle session, a WOO sensor needs to be recording during your session. The WOO 1.0 sensor supports the Kite - Big Air game only, the WOO 2.0 sensor supports all games except Freeride, the WOO 3.0 and 4.0 sensors supports all games except Freeride and includes an integration with your Apple Watch to show live jumps.

Been using this app since day 1. Had a woo 1.0 and now have a 2.0. Love kiting with woo it's super fun and has definitely helped me push my progression. I think what I love the most about the app is seeing other sessions from all over the world and using the Explore feature to check out new places to ride. You def get some fomo when there is no wind at home and your buddies in other places are posting sessions but it's all good fun.

Buggy and no customer support. I start walking away from WOO

I’ve been a loyal customer for years. I recommend the WOO to anyone and gifted to friends to spice our sessions. As soon as the membership system came out for the freeride sessions I joined immediately. Now and there there were bugs but overall it was my kite log diary. Now it’s unusable: on the apple watch once you start recording a freeride session the stop will not work. So it never ends recording unless you kill the application and loose the session. For the last 2 months I’ve not been able to upload any type of session. It says it cannot find the server. I started using other applications, more reliable and less expensive. It’s a pity. And all this because THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE:- no way I can open a ticket and monitor the follow up- no way I ever got a reply to any of my emails. Again, it’s a pity because the community part is awesome but... as a kiter and a member of the community I can’t participate any more as I can’t upload sessions, and don’t know anymore where to address my problems. It’s a shame.

They’ve had some bugs but that’s because they’re working on new stuff. Overall it’s way better than Surfr app. More accurate by far. (That’s why only surfr sponsored people use it). Pair it with an Apple Ultra watch or Garmin and you’ll see. Woo is the best one out there and it keeps getting better. Keep it up Woo engineers. 🤙🏼

The app has always worked well but you could tell it was missing some powerful analytics with all the info people were gathering (best spots, wind direction, kite quivers, etc), now it’s there! Really good insights on the best times to visit certain spots, awesome job!
This update brings the WOO safety feature to the forefront of the app, and revamps the app interface to be ready for iOS 26. Safety is an important factor on the water, and with the new app interface, enabling it to share your location is now a matter of two clicks. On top of that, we added the ability to share your location publicly. Have fun on the water, and stay safe!
