This app has cause me to gain depression and anxiety. This has caused me and my sister to barely have a bond I get she is trying to protect me but she does to much wit this app. I don’t even have trust. I’m the child “not to be trusted” she started this when I was 13 or 12 I am 16 now in 10th grade. She sees every app every message every picture every call I give and receive. She wonder y we barely have a bond and y I don’t come to her to talk. It’s bc she has the app so she knows everything already like I don’t understand how she wants me to act like. It caused me to be more sneaky and things. So strict I can’t even hang out wit my friends and can’t be supportive and go to my Bsf basketball games. I can’t even go back to public school I’m on a all online schooling program K-12. I got tooken out of school bc I was talking to a boy. Come on now. I’m growing up duh. I don’t have any privacy nor space.I even asked my mom does she tell her to do this and she told me no. My mom,dad,nor god mom doesn’t like what she is doing. I even have screen time. it locks at 2:00 am and I guess turns back on at 4:00 and the told me after 2 put my phone and tablet in her room. Like what. My phone already locked what I need to put it in there for. My anger is building higher and higher and all I’m doing is crying. Bc I’m scared to tell her how I feel about this. I haven’t seen my friends in a year or two. I’m better inside school I had a’s and b’s but online it’s not good. It harder. Harder to focus bc I’m at home. Teens make mistakes, it’s apart of life growing up. But to put this much parental control over a 16 year old teens phone is beyond unnecessary. If you explain to the child what they did was wrong and how to know what is right and wrong and who are people they can avoid and how to avoid there is no need for this app. All the teens on here are right what more important you micro managing your kid or your relationship with your kid?. That’s for you as a parent to decide privacy is a right not a privilege. And if you want to be on the side “ well this app is helping to protect my child from unwanted people and inappropriate sites”. Children will be curious that’s how life goes. Maybe 14 years and under ok I understand this app but if you’re putting this app on ur 16+ child phone I’m sorry but you are on the path to destroying your relationship with your kid. The only thing this app will teach them is how to be sneaky now communication because that’s what you as parents want right? You want your child to be able to communicate and talk to you openly?. Well putting this app on ur child’s phone won’t help them do that. I hope all you parents out there understand that teens will get suffocated of the idea ur constantly watching them 24/7, they will feel trapped leading to many different mental health illnesses. If I could give it 0 stars I would! This app ruined my life as a 16 year old girl. I haven’t given any reason to my parents to put this app on my phone, even if I did it’s a horrible idea. All this app has taught me to do is be sneaky. I never have been a sneaky kid and always was open and honest. This app for 1 costs way too much and it’s clear the creators only want your money, 2 it’s just bad I can’t stress this enough. It has so many bugs and it’s a pain to call my mom when she’s at work to “unlock my phone” I should not have to ask for that! If you as a parent want a good relationship with your child, communication is key. What I mean by that is if your child has bad grades, don’t punish them instead set up a plan and how your gonna help your child succeed. If your child is in trouble for something else, there are other alternatives like have a discussion and explain what they did was not okay and then from there you decide what will be appropriate in that situation but this app is never a good option. Privacy is a right not a privilege. If it’s for the child’s online safety you may let them hold the phone and ask them about apps they may have on there phone but let the child have a sense of security. I promise your kids will open up if your not hard on them.

I don’t have this app on my phone anymore, but please if you’re thinking about getting this app I beg you please don’t. I am 15 and all this has done between my parents and I is make our relationship worse. They say it’s “child safety.” But I can assure you that your child will feel micro managed, and most likely get depression. Because I know I gained a lot of depression and anxiety over this App. I felt like at any second I could get in trouble for anything even if it was something I knew I couldn’t get in trouble for. This app ruined my relationship with my parents. And for gods sakes if your child is 14 and older you need to stop being on top of them all the time abt everything. We are getting older and we make mistakes. But you can’t expect your child to learn from their mistakes if you don’t let them figure it own on their own. This app caused me so much trauma, do not get it.
