Best App Motorcycle Touring

I’ve been doing long distance touring of the US for the last ten years and this app is the best! I’ve tried all the big name navigation apps but MyRoute makes routes with multiple stops the most efficient. It is virtually the only one that will give you seamless navigation when stopping at each location. I get back on the bike after a stop and as soon as CarPlay reconnects the app asks if I want to continue navigating my route. One tap on the screen versus having to pull up each waypoint manually during the trip with other apps. The elevation icon with the compass ring is an excellent new feature. Highly recommend this app!

I have been using the app and website for a few weeks and I like the interface of the website. I like how to use it to create routes and store them. I have used it to create bus routes as I am a bus driver for my school I teach at. The tools are good and simple to follow. Where I have critiques and criticisms are in the navigation part of the app. It is very clunky and it could be because I am using it mostly to create bus stops and route patterns. When driving to each way point, some way points don’t disappear when past on the route and the navigation redirects me to those old waypoints. So it makes it hard to navigate properly. This is the only app I have found where I can program and save multiple routes on and I like that. I only wish that I could talk to the dev team about my issues as so they could better improve the app or even help me with my issues mentioned above. Over all it is designed well and it is very useful. Cheers.

The app is showing a lot of promise and is continually improving. However, it simply is not there yet. And as such, the reason for the review rating at this moment in time. The app appears to be largely European based, and it also seems that as a result, it’s functions tend to lean that direction. Impactful issues, such as high battery drain and small fonts make it difficult. It struggles to show gas stations and if it does, the icon is so small it isn’t recognizable. The ability to add a stop when the app is in use is non existent. It’s ability to show upcoming traffic issues/slowdowns is very much lack packing - they are there, but the lines/colors tend to get hidden by the route line itself, and when these issues do appear, it’s too late to adjust the route anyway. Even if you could adjust, it simply wants to put you back on the same route after it has recalculated anyway. Not ready to give up on it by any stretch, waiting for improvements to be made where it truly can rival the big guns like Google and Apple.

My friend who is a Lifetime Gold Member was able to install and use the updated app with the navigation without any issues. I'm also a Lifetime Gold Member and I when downloaded the update with the navigation, when I went to use it it wanted me to buy another subscription. My question is why was my friend able to start using the navigation and I cannot.
